Directory
Go to this directory in my computer:
C:\Users\Username\Documents\Almost Human\Legend of Grimrock 2\Portraits

This is where you will put the images you want to use.
Getting the files and how to make your own.
Now you have to download or create the images yourself. They have to be .TGA files and be 128X128. They also must have a file-name that ends in either _male.tga or _female.tga.

Example: human_male_01.tga

Having the file named like this: [race]_[sex]_[number].tga keeps your folder in order but i find that just having the _male.tga or _female.tga makes it work all the same.

NOTE: Download or Create the images. Converting existing images (at least in my experience) does not work. You can take an existing image and edit it down to 128X128 and export it as a .TGA and that will work. I personally used the image editing software GIMP to do this.

So the steps for making a custom portrait with an existing image would be;
1. Change the image size using online converter OR GIMP editing software to 128X128
2. Opening the converted image in GIMP
3. Hit file
4. Export as
5. Change file-name to end in .tga
6. Place the .tga file in directory from part one
7. Make sure image file-name ends with either _male.tga or _female.tga
Now create your character!
Open LoG2 and hit new game. Custom portraits should now show your images for use, look online for community made portraits or have some fun creating your own!
