Starting
Making a Kingdom in Perisno isn't easy, uniting it is even harder. I'm a little rusty with Perisno, so there may be some blank areas.

First thing you have to do is start with your chosen faction. I prefer the Redwood Elves, as they are perfect with attacking and defending. For this guide, I'm going to be basing this off Redwood.

Once you start game, check around at all the different villages to get somewhere between 15 and 20 soldiers. Then head to a training ground and spar with your soldiers a bunch of times. This is slow work, but they will level up. If you have a bunch of points into surgery, head straight into the action and fight some bandits and outlaws.
Starting the Faction
This is VERY important. If you play this right, you should be able to attack a faction that is already at war. I always attack Tolrania, as it gives me access to almost every nation. Once you pick the faction you'll destroy, head towards the farthest area away from other nations. This will allow you to fortify an out of the way area.

Once the castle you chose to attack has been captured, put somewhere between 25-70 into the castle and head to the villages. Now recruit all those villagers. Take them out and level them a few times. Make all of them melee, as your army was full of the Redwood archers. Station those men there so you have a max garrison of 150.

Now collect some more Redwood soldiers and add them to your ranks. You should add at least 30. Level them up a bunch of times to a level where they put out a steady line of arrows. Now pick off some small bandit parties that contain prisoners and add them to your party with any mercs you add from taverns.
Taking new castles
When you take a castle, make sure to say that you want to wait. This adds a garrison of 20-40 men. Really, who doesn't love 40 free men? Buff the garrison to 100, recruit from the villages, level the soldiers, then advance.
Ending a faction
Factions are destroyed if they can't reclaim any castles within 1 week of losting their final one. It is very important to decimate the faction you're attacking quickly to minimize the number of castles you lose. Be careful how fast you expand, because sometimes factions will declare war to stop you from gaining power.

In my campaign, I took Redwood, Tolrania, 1 town in Drahara, and 2 castles, along with half Maccavia. Then the dwarves, eagles (or is it falcons? either way, they have 1 town and 3-4 castles and are guarded by Redwood) and the Valahir declared war to stop me from gaining power. I took the eagles, 3/4 of the dwarves, and 1/2 the Valahir in quick succession. Keep in mind this all happened while I was fighting Maccavia and Drahara.
Fighting Multiple Factions
This is the hard part. Until you have peace, continue to hit one faction very quickly. If you hit them fast and hard enough, the king will accept a peace treaty.
Tricks and Hints
Use somewhere between 100-150 Elvarie Archers. If you want, have 25 AT MOST Elvarie Rangers. They cost a LARGE amount to get and maintain.

When low on cash, do the large bounties in taverns. They can yield up to $2,000 each, plus whatever they had. This is a quick way to get lots of cash.

Strike fast and hard. A spymaster will direct your efforts.

When at war with multiple people, try to get one of them to surrender by taking multiple castles in a row. Battle size on 30 can really help.

Alright, I checked it out. Once you own a kingdom, go to the camping menu. Then click game settings, and in the bottom right "Faction colors." Once you hit faction colors, look at the top of the screen that has a faction, click it, then your faction, then pick the color.

It is possible to change the colors, but I'll have to look into it to remember how to do it. I have since forgotten. I believe you can do it through the camping menu. I'll get back to you once I find out.

I get Redwood since their archers can stop calvary charges if they're rangers, and infantry if they aren't. Redwood rangers on a max battle size where you don't have the advantage can be very useful for taking down the advantage, since you can let the archers fire until the enemy gets close, then retreat from battle and reattack.

The only way to stop that is to hit just as hard and just as fast. If you can make victory hell for them, they'll surrender. Once I used 300 some odd men and killed more than 10k. Lost the castle, but I gave em hell and they surrendered shortly after.

I had my own kingdom and everyone declared war on me. I had to leave the save because everyone was taking every thing me all at once.
