Description
Let's make some more three-ways! This right here is a Y-Stack, or specifically, one of the many ways to make a Y-Stack. This specific design is roughly based on the "twins of Copenhagen" as I use to call them; two almost completely inseperable interchanges along Motorring 3 outside Copenhagen. They look pretty awesome on satellite photos, and give the danes their own set of Illuminati triangles. And why stop there when you can invite the Illuminati to your city as well!

2.0 UPDATE - I don't think much has changed here either. I just add these 2.0 UPDATE sections on all updated interchanges to be consistent ;)

====================================================================

Advantages:
+ Fully directional
+ No weaving
+ While it's quite large, it's still fairly easy to plop down in rough terrain

Disadvantages:
- It's very large
- Might attract unwanted attention from reptilians

Cost: 28 830
Upkeep: 342 / week

In-game description: The question is not how to build an efficient road system, or what to have in a good motorway network; the question is "Why?"

the only thing preventing total city traffic collapse

This is really cool but just huge, way too hard to use. I'm gonna try and incorporate one into my next city though.

This intersection keeps my 150k city alive.

Can't you just release a big pack instead of individually?

Placed in my city. Had massive influx of reptilians that quietly replaced the population.
They turned out to be Salamanders.

@asdLArs - it looks like Motorring 3 in Denmark is a Y interchange over a service interchange, but I'm not sure if there are ways onto the arterial primary Jyvlingveij and secondary road Oxbjergvei - but I'm not Danish so I would need to do research to check that. The angles are about, assuming southbound can be treated as 0 degrees, 0 ~90 ~270. Which is fairly common to fit terrain and existing construction - this intersection just uses 0 45 -45 to be a perfect triangle in CSL, depending on how you rotate it. Some of those roads are clearly non-intersecting overpasses but it looks like at least one of the arterial roads has an entrance/exit service interchange. There's also some service roads that I'd hazard a guess are for maintenance, emergency, or reserved use only.

I typically always have to upgrade the intersection road sizes to not have problems with this one. And the space - without using anarchy or clipping tactics - makes it difficult to upgrade. It's also very hard to "adjust" the Y-interchange direction to more closely match the exact highways sometimes. I do like it overall, but it can definitely be improved.

Can be interestingly mixed with the Sonnbonner to create two routes that then merge into a C/E system
