Today I started a new town on your map. Just reached 65K pop, and built the in-game airport. Planes arrive and take off without any problems. Sorry for suggesting your map was the culprit, and thanks for your swift replies. I have unsubscribed the 2 airports that was causing the problem, so they won't do any more damage.

@DiseaseCreampMyStyle I tried myself and I had no problems with the airplanes/-ports... I placed next to the starting highway. Are there no planes flying over the map? And I thought the "airplane mapmode" would show the airplane paths, like the ship paths, but I was wrong. I only used the unlimited money and all unlocks mod from Paradox. When you start a new game you can see that there are plane routes. So maybe the custom airports are brocken/brocke something. But I can't say it clearly :/

Opened my save and let it run for some time watching only the airports. After a while (5-6mins I'll guess) the first airplane took off from the original airport. After that a plane took off every 1-2 mins., but there was no incoming planes. Let it run for 20-25 mins, and no incoming at all.
Tried to upload the save to steam (would give you a chance to have a look), but I get an error every time I try. Maybe the save is corrupt?
Sorry, but don't know what you mean by "airplane mapmode"?

@DiseaseCrampMyStyle I checked it and there should be 2 airplane connections. At least in the Editor... Are there no connections when you are in the "airplane mapmode"?

Took a liking to this map, and not only because you promise that there's airplane connections! After creating a city with almost 100K pop I build a custom airport (well, not exactly, I combined two (unfinished) airports from the workshop). No planes showed up. Then (in desperation) I added the airport that comes with the game. Still no airplanes! Are you sure about those connections? I'll give up on the map for now (with the feeling I've wasted hours).
