How to Grenade

This is a basic guide on how to properly use the grenades in CS:GO.

Selecting the right grenade for you.

When you open up the grenades section in CS:GO, you're just swarmed with so many options! I mean am I right? How are you supposed to pick!? To learn which grenade we're going to be using, we'll be testing them one by one. Buy a different grenade each round and use some test targets! Here are the best targets to use for each different grenade, made by Gaben himself!

Using your grenade.

Once you've selected which grenade you're most accurate with, you're going to want to test your accuracy on your enemies! Gaben has provided the list of grenades with their damage that is given to enemies when the grenade hits them directly.

Obviously the most damaging grenade is going to be the least accurate, so if you were able to master the decoy grenade: Congratulations! You don't even have to read farther than this paragraph! You've learned how to be a professional competitive CS:GO player! You'll be a Global Elite in no time, buddy!

If you're best with the HE Grenade, however, you're going to need a lot of practice with your grenade accuracy. Here's how you use the grenades, in order from least damaging to most damaging. (Again, provided by Gaben himself.*)

1. HE Grenade - To use this grenade, you have to be very careful as to how to throw it and where you throw it. The best way to get the most damage out of this grenade is to have a teammate help you reflect it at the enemy using their face. Crouch in front of this teammate, aim directly at the nose of their player model, and right click to throw!
   
2. Molotov Cocktail/Incendiary Grenade - This grenade is most effective when trying to reflect it off of the ground with a teammate's help. To do this, get close to one or more teammates, stand close to them, look straight at the ground, and right click. If the teammate that you've tried to do this with moves, it won't work. In the chance that it doesn't work, buy more molotovs at spawn. If the buy time is up, type disconnect in console to disconnect the server from the buy-timer and try again!
   
3. Flashbang - The flashbang is very easy to use: Walk 5+ feet infront of your team's sniper and right click the ground so that it's in their line of sight, if this is done correctly you will have reflected the flash off of your teammate's sniper rifle scope into every enemy's eyes, blinding their entire team!
   
4. Smoke Grenade - Almost exactly the same as the flashbang, but drop it 1 foot away from them instead of 5 feet.
   
5. Decoy Grenade - This is the easiest one yet, just right click it directly on the ground that you and your teammates are trying to sneak to! Works 60% of the time, 100% of the time.

Dealing with jealousy.

This happens to everybody who masters a skill: Kids who are jealous of their pro skills. To deal with this, hold down tab to view the scoreboard, right click to enable your cursor, click the person's name, and click "Block All Communication." You've successfully learned how to grenade!
