Best M&B Warband Mods

This Guide shows you many of the best Mount and Blade Mods. They are mostly mods for only the singleplayer but there are some for the multiplayer as well.

How to install Mods

First, I'll explain how to install mods.When you download a mod you simply have to copy the file and put it into the "modules" (Steam/SteamApps/common/MountBlade Warband/Modules)
file.When you start Mount & Blade just select which mod you want to use in the launcher.

Gekokujo

As the first Mod I want to present you the Gekokujo Mod which takes place in acient Japan in the time of the Samurai.
I personally like this Mod because it has much content and also because the battlefields and towns are very detailed. This Mod offers the whole of Japan as a playable map, also with clans which you can actually join as a soldier.

1860s Old America

The next Mod I will show you is the 1860s Old America Mod. I like it because of its atmosphere. You will mainly use revolvers but there are also shotguns and muskets and the troops are historically correct. Furthermore are there the West and South States and Native Americans (♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥).

L´Aigle

If you own the Napoleonic Wars DLC you surely have wished that you could fight these epic battles in the Singleplayer as well. This Mod does excatly that.
The beautiful towns and the big battles with cannons are definatly worth a look. In addition to the great number of different troops you can even meet Napoleon himself.

The Red Wars

This Mod is different from the others since it plays during modern times. The Red Wars play in 1923 and only has modern weapons like machineguns and grenades. The Mod is not quite ready yet and it still has some bugs but it is still worth a look because it's something different and plays in the modern age.

Brytenwalda

This mod is especially interesting as it play in the time of the vikings. The Mod Brytenwalda has alot of extras which weren't in the normal base game and you can again join armies as a soldier. The world is build wonderfully. Because of this mod the Viking DLC has been created. There are alot of special places you can visit like for example the old ruins or the salt mine

Fight big battles with vikings

Iron Europe (Mutliplayer Mod)

This is the first Multiplayer Mod and it takes place in WW1. You play as a single soldier and fight in big battles with artellery and grenades. It is a lot of fun and the maps are very detailed. You can play as Germany or as France and you can choose between many classes.

This is one of the awesome looking Battleground.

Full Invasion 2 (Multiplayer Mod)

This is a Survival Mod. This Mod has a lot of maps and your goal is to survive the rounds of incoming enemies. You can decide which army you play as and which army attacks you. This mod makes a lot of fun when you play with others and is a nice challange. The graphics in the Mod don't look very good but the mod has so many possibilities so it's much fun to play with friends.
