How to get all special Achievements in "Dark Carnival"

This guide will show you, how to get the Achievements which you can only get on the campaign/map "Dark Carnival"

Before you start...

I just want to say that that is my very first guide on steam and if you find errors in my spelling or the Achievements themselves, I'am really sorry. English isn't my mother tongue so please forgive me if I write something wrong. Only write a comment if there is something that isn't right or if i forgot something and I will correct it as fast as you can say "Peanut" :D ! So, thank you for reading and using my guide!

Cl0wnd

This is an Achivement you can do all over the Map of DarkCarnival because Clowns spawn everywhere on the map. If you found one, you only have to hit them in their face (not with melee-weapon, with a right klick (default key). If you can hear a squeak, you're doing it right.

Fried Piper

That is the second Clown-achievement. You have to throw a Molotov on a clown which has 10 zombies following him. I think you need luck for it or a nice team because my problem with both of the clown-achievements was, that the people (and bots) I played with killed them as fast as I could see them.

Guardin' Gnome

This one was very difficult for me because there is one really hard step to get it:

1st step: Get the gnome
Find this place in chapter 2 of the campaign:



After you found it, you have to get 750 points in the minigame which is in that hut. Only press the button in the middle of it and it starts. Next to it on the right side is a blackboard which shows you, what you have to shoot down to get points. Most important: DONT HIT THE PEANUT!! If you have the 750 points and the game has ended, next to the hut on the left side should be your gnome:











2nd step (the difficult one):
Bring the gnome to the helicopter which will rescue you in the end of the last chapter. It is difficult because of the rollercoaster in chapter 4 (maybe it isn't for you but for me it was). There will be lots of zombies and you have to be very very fast to survive it! Notice that you and your whole group will get the achievement when the gnome is safe in the end.

Gong Show

For this the most important thing to have is adrenalin. Also very important is a melee weapon. A pistol or any other weapon doesn't work. Only look for them while you are on the way to the place where you have to go for it. It's in chapter 4 and you only have to find that place:



After that you have to take the adrenalin and hit the red button with your melee weapon. The gong will get destroyed and you will get the achievement. Please notice that only you will get the achievement when you do it by yourself. Everyone in your group has to do it on their own.

Be careful! After destroying the gong a horde will appear!

Stache Whacker

This achievement is not so difficult. You may need more than one try but It will be worth it. First find that place (it is in chapter 4 too):



After you found it, you have to start the minigame and shoot all of the pistachios that get out of the holes. If you did it right, they have to be destroyed and look like that:



Be careful! After winning the game a horde will appear!

Midnight Rider

That's the last achievement in this guide and the last achievement in the campaign of "Dark Carnival". You only have to get into the chopper in the last chapter. Make sure that you play the game from beginning to end without disconnections, because if you don't, you won't get it.

theres another achievement called "The Main attraction"

to get the gnome achievement, in the last chapter, I put the gnome next to the control panel where you turn on the lights, and I camped there with an uzi, and as soon as the chopper came, I used my adrenaline and ran. Rochelle got knocked out, so we had to leave her behind.

I managed to bring the gnome all the way to the end of the campaign — inside the helicopter without dropping it — and I still didn't get the achievement. Looks like the game bugged out and effed me over!

Lost the gnome right before the rollercoaster because you fall down that hole in the building and cant get up. Pretty annoying map design
