A Guide On How To Install Dayz Epoch And Overwatch And Tips And Tricks (NOT CURRENT)

Just A Quick How To:

Alright So To Play You'll Need Arma 2 & Arma 2:OA And DayZ

Then Download Either

• DayZ Commander [www.dayzcommander.com]
  
• DayZ Launcher [dayzlauncher.com]
  
  !! Either Of These Work The Same, If You Run Into Issues With One, Try The Other !!
  
  
  1. Install Either Launcher
     
  2. Click On Settings
     
  3. Find Your Arma 2, Arma 2:OA Install Files, Usually Program Files/Steam/Steam Apps/Common.
     
  4. Click On The Mods Section
     
  5. Download The Following Mods
     
     
     

     Epoch 1.0.5.1
     Overwatch 0.2.5
     Day 1.8.2

     
     
  6. *Once Downloaded They Will Auto Install
     
  7. *In Settings Under Launch Parameters Put
     

     -mod=@DayZOverwatch;@DayZ_Epoch

  8. Click Done
     
  9. Close Commander/Launcher
     
  10. Open Arma 2 And Arma 2:OA At Least Once, Just Load To The Main Menu, Then Exit
      
  11. Open Commander/Launcher
      
  12. On The Servers Tab, In Search Check Hide Wrong Mod Version
      
      Connect To Any Server

Issues And F.A.Q

You Should Now Be Connecting, If You Run Into Any Issues Try The Following

• Close Steam, Commander, Launcher, Arma, Open All As An Admin
  
• Verify Arma Files In Steam.
  
• Ask Me Via Msg Or On TS3 At xiii.ts.nfoservers.com, Im Usually There
  
• Any Issues with Signed Files Is Usually To Do With Not Running Steam Or Commander/Launcher As An Admin
  
• Try Clearing Your Steam AppCache, Close Steam, Delete The AppCache Folder In Your Steam Install Folder, Reopen Steam, Try Connecting
  
• Make Sure You Have Opened Arma 2 And Arma 2: OA At Least Once.

  Q. Im getting Signed Files Error?
  A. Close Everything, Open As Admin.
  
  Q. Im Still Getting Signed Files Error?
  A. Make Sure You Only Have The Mods Listed Above Enabled.
  
  Q.Arma Just Crashed On Me?

Where can I get the Overwatch mod?

Tomato download origins 1.8.2 and DayZ 1.8.7 also look at the server you wanna play you'll see that it shows the things you need to download. I haven't been playing this for a while but this was the way I solved the problem.

Some dumb childs here. You don't need to download the standard dayz mod as it's already inside epoch/overpoch. You just need DayZ Overwatch and Epoch and start with both.

Hey! First of all thank you I'm new these mod games. I can not find Day 1.8.2 on the mods. There is DayZ 1.8.7 and/or Origins Mod 1.8.2 . What should I do? Should I install both?

i reccomend day launcher and at the top u should see a mods title click on that then click the mods u wanna download
