Bayanchur Khan Uyghur Khaganate Guide

Are you looking for a Civ that reduces happiness for the number of cities that you have? How about a faster cavalry unit that receives combat bonases? What about a hapiness building that does not require any Horse Tiles, provides extra food, and hapiness? Then the Uyghur Khaganate is the Civ for you! Led by Bayanchur Khan, the Uyghur Khaganate are ready for rapid expansion. With thier Unique Ability, Empire of the Nine Clans, unhappiness is reduced by the number of cities that are under your control. With thier Unique Unit, the, Altic Rider, the Uyghur Khaganate is ready to run down thier enemies. And with thier Unique Building, the Grape Arbor, the Uyghur Khaganate can keep its people happy. This guide will explain how to play, conquer, and expand as the Uyghur Khaganate.

History of Bayanchur Khan

Bayanchur Khan (747-759 AD) suceeded his father, Guli Peilo. Bayanchur was born in 747. He helped that Tang Dynasty quell rebellions and built large stones to preserve his memory and the memories of past rulers. He died in 759 at a feast for the victory against the Sayan Mountian Tribes. Bayanchur Khan was suceeded by his son, Bogu Tekin. The Uyghur Khaganate was a confederation of two alliances, one in the north and one in the south. Bayanchur belonged to the ruling Yaghmalar tribe, which was part of the On-Uyghur Confederation, also known as the Northern Alliance. The Toquz-oghuz Confederation was also known as the Southern Alliance. The Nothern Alliance had ten tribes and the Southern Alliance had 9 tribes. These two Confederations adpoted the name "Uyghur" which "Uy" means "To bond" and "Ghur" means "The People" The Uyghur Empire collapsed in 840 AD after numerous invasions from the Kyrgyz Tribes from the North.

Unique Ability, Unit, and Building.

The Uyghur Khaganate has one Unique Ability, Empire of the Nine Clans. This gives 50% less unhappiness for the number of cities that you have under your control. This abilty allows the Uyghur Khaganate to expand quickly, which is what you want to do if you are going for a Military Victory in the game.

The Unique Unit that the Uyghur Khaganate has is the Altic Rider. This unit only replaces the Horsemen Unit, and is slightly faster, recieves a combat bonas in rough terrain only, and has a greater line of sight than the Horsemen Unit in the base game.

The Unique Building that the Uyghur Khaganate has is the Grape Arbor. This building only replaces the circus, but does not require horses, provides additional food and happiness. You still have to research Calendar to be able to construct this building.
