Looking at the list though, seems like Toxic foods would be the best choice if you have antidotes or use lots of healing to combat the poison debuff. Or chili/boneboo, if you want damage and you're finding that some creatures are barely surviving one or two attacks from you.
Also, those energy max buffs are usable if you're an Impervium Separator and want to fire two Ferozium rockets before running out of energy, as the Ferozium rocket launcher uses 210 energy and an Impervium Separator has 210 energy.
You'll need to follow the tomato recipe line to unlock hamburgers.
I think its something like->
Tomato->Tomato Soup->Relish->Hamburger
There were no foods that granted shining buff at the time of the guide so it was left out. Of course yellow stims do grant shining, but thats not food. One could inflict themself with burning for a similar light effect though (chilli).
