Crafting Guide - Nov 11th OUTDATED (Rework - 08/20/18)

OUTDATED! ~ Is it just me or did the game switch to a different engine! Wow the game isnt even the same anymore...

This is a guide to building in the latest update of Stranded Deep. This also has a tip list and a few little extras. This guide will follow the development of Stranded Deep, Please remember to Favorate!

Tools

To craft, place items in the vacinity of eachother, left click on one of them to open the menu

-Crude Knife-

• 1 x Lashing
  
• 1 x Rock Shard
  
• 1 x Stick

-Crude Axe-

• 1 x Stick
  
• 1 x Rock
  
• 1 x Lashing

-Crude Hammer-

• 1 x Lashing
  
• 1 x Stick
  
• 2 x Rocks

-Crude Spear-

• 2 x Sticks
  
• 2 x Lashing
  
• 1 x Rock Shard

-Campfire-

• 5 x Sticks

Note: You can cook food over this fire by holding it over the fire.

-Fire pit-

• 1 x Campfire
  
• 6 x Rocks

Note: The fire pit attaches to a built Campfire. This allows you to restock wood (Left click with a stick), or add a cooking spit.

-Fire Spit-

• 1 x FirePit
  
• 1 x Lashing
  
• 3 x Sticks

Note: A Fire Spit is an addition to the Fire Pit. Allowing you to attach cookable food to the spit by left clicking.

Base Building/Survival

~These require any hammer to make~
You can destroy built walls by hitting them with an axe

-Foundation-

(be around a built foundation for all the below recipies)

-Supports-

• 1 x Stick

(Placed on each corner of a foundation)

-Wall-

• 1 x Foundation
  
• 2 x Palm Fronds
  
• 4 x Sticks

(Placed between two Supports.)

-Door-

• 2 x Lashing
  
• 4 x Stick
  
• 2 x Palm Leafs

-Roof-

• 1 x Foundation

(must be placed on top of 4 Supports.)

-Bed-

• 6 x Sticks

(Currently cannot be place in/on a foundation)

-Steps-

(Can be placed at any side of a Foundation that’s not taken.)

-Raft-

(Placed just like a Foundation, but placed on the waters surface.)

Medical Treatments

~How to properly treat medical situations~

-Broken Arm-

Use morphine to treat a broken arm. At the moment, a broken arm does not impair your physical activities, but it will take some health over time and does not mend by itself. Besides that, it does not look nice.

-Cuts and Scrapes-

These can be treated with a bandage. Your health with slowly drop health and will not stop until treated. Sharks will be attracted to your blood in the water!

-Poison-

Antibiotics will cure poison (rash on arm).

Tips

~Left clicking while holding the F key for your watch, will show you your current Hunger, Thirst, and Health.

~Dont eat AngelFish or Rockfish, even if they are cooked!

~You can only sleep between 18:00 and 06:00

~Watch will beep when health is low
Faster is bad!

~Stay away from Sea Urchins and lion fish, they are poisonous to the touch

~A lantern on the ground can be turn on and off with left click

~Sleeping causes food and thirst to lower

~if you dont have any tools, find a rock and throw it in the air, it will break giving you shards. use the shards to collect things

~you can look straight ahead, and up a little before dropping your fresh water bucket and it'll land standing up.

~You can boil water to drink from a bucket found in wrecks

~You will hear a "DING" when your food is cooked.

~Do not save when you are in a shipwreck, you may get bugged when you load the game.

~Yucca plants will Re-grow in about 10 RealLife minutes.

~Looking at a shark will make it less likely to attack, looking away causes it to charge at you

~Having your food bar full and your hunger bar full will heal you, unless you get a status message saying you are bleeding

Extras

~ Volley Ball Easter egg - Wolly (Wilson, cast away reference) found on random islands
Has no use at this time

~DeadEX Box (FedEx, cast away)

~Flare gun
you can signal a plane with a it has to be at nighttime and if u see a flashing light, shoot ur flare at it. there are chances of certain drops


~Whistle
is used to scare away sharks and other creatures

~Maunsell Forts are massive sea forts where you can find common, to rare loot
