Premier League Foreign Player Limit

This mods the rules of the Premier League and the 3 leagues below and only allows you to have a maximum of 3 foreign players in your squad and match squad. This allows British players to be played more and will help development, leading to a stronger national side maybe?

Foreign players who have been in England long enough won't count as foreign. E.G Kompany will not count as foreign

(Scottish, Irish, Welsh, N-Irish don't count as foreign)





If you want to edit a different league of your choosing, it's only something you can do in the Advance Rules, unless you want to re-build the all the systems from scratch (which I doubt you do).


-Add a set of nation rules for England (or whatever league you want) and choose to add extra league and cup to the existing structure.

-Choose 'Convert to Advance Rules' in the 'Rules' menu

-Find the league you want to edit in the left hand menu and expand it.

-Click 'Competition' and scroll down until you see 'Fixture Rules index', remember the number in the box.

-Go back to the left menu and expand the nation (England in this case, but whatever country you picked)

-Expand 'Fixture Rules' and then click on the number you remembered 2 steps ago.

-At the bottom on this page are the squad selection rules, add,edit and remove as you see fit. I found it worked better when you set the limit in the overall squad selection and the match squad, make sure you you select both of these rules.

-Save, Test Rules>All, then run it in FM15
