choosing jill because Julia Voth is pretty
Didn't know they made a game about the guys from dbd!
In original vanilla first BIOHAZARD, Chris' route and Jill's route are essentially "presets" of ADDITIONAL difficulty multipliers that get applied OVER the default selected difficulty, with Chris being "Hard" by default and Jill being "Easy", so when you, for example, select "Hard" difficulty in the main menu and then after that pick up Chris' route next, you actually DOUBLE the already-hard difficulty, essentially making Chris' run a "Very Hard/Extreme" difficulty in overall, while picking up Jill's route would work in a reverse way: if you selected "Hard" and then Jill afterwards - you will get "Normal", and if you selected "Normal" and then Jill - you will get "Easy". Unfortunately, this feature/mechanic wasn't implemented as good/well in REmake as it was in the vanilla original, so selecting Chris in REmake doesn't actually increase difficulty by a lot , in comparison with Jill.
Thats Chris from Resident Evil 5. Chris from Resident Evil 1 was a much more of a normal person
