Chroma Case Update - Knife Guide

This guide will provide insight, tips and tricks for all the new Knifeskins that were recently added by Valve's last Update "The Chroma Collection".

General Information

Valves most recent Update "The Chroma Collection" will change the values, knife-tiers and popularity of each individual knife. It is the biggest Update Knife-Skins have witnessed this far and will bring many changes in terms of trading aswell.

In total there are ...

• 6 new Skins
  
  
• 3 new High-Tier patterns
  
• 2 new Mid-Tier patterns
  
• 1 new Low-Tier pattern

Since these knives have to establish into the market first and nobody can tell their exact value or popularity i can just predict what it will look like. A list of the knife-tiers for this update only can be found in further Chapters below.

NOTE: The new skins are actually only added for the original Knife-Types back when Valve added Skins to CS:GO. The 2 newest additions called Butterfly & Huntsman Knives are not included in this update.

Pattern-Tier changes for the current Update

The High-, Mid- and Low-Tiers will see some significant changes through the next weeks. This Chapter contains all 3 tiers and where i would predict each Skin to settle within the next weeks. Keep in mind this predictions only includes the NEW skins!

General information about Tiers:

Each knife can be considered as more/less popular or more/less valuable than another one.

Therefor a High-Tier knife is very popular and valuable among the Community while a Low-Tier knife is very unpopular and less valuable among the community.

The rating from most expensive to the cheapest pattern should look like this:

• High-Tier

  
  Doppler - really sick new colors
  - I would rate this as current Number 1 pattern
  
  Tiger-Tooth - very nice looking pattern and color
  - I would rate this as current Number 2 pattern
  
  Marble-Fade - not too different from regular fades
  - I would rate this as current Number 3 pattern
  
  Ultraviolet - it looks equal to "Night-Skins" with a violet grip
  - I would rate this as current Number 4 pattern (can be average-tier when Field-Tested or worse)
  
  
  
  

• Average-Tier

  
  Ultraviolet - it looks equal to "Night-Skins" with a violet grip
  - I would rate this as current Number 4 pattern (can be average-tier when Field-Tested or worse)
  
  Damascus Steel - pretty much another "Stained"-pattern

Pink > Pink + Black > Alot Blue + Black > Blue + Black > Green, Black, Blue > Black

I thought it went more like
Black Pearl (Do NOT be fooled by a phase 1/3 with a lot of black, check screenshots of black pearls) (rarest) > Ruby (FULL red) OR Sapphire (FULL Blue) (Look up screenshots and do not be fooled by a Phase 2 or 4 with a lot of red/blue (Same rarity) > Phase 2 (lots of red and a bit of black) and Phase 4 (lots of blue and a bit of black) (Same rarity) > Phase 1 (a bit of red and lots of black) and Phase 3 (a bit of blue/green and lots of black). All of the Phases 1-4 are the same rarity, but the more colour the more desirable.

The highest Rariety on Doppler is Ruby or Saphire these going like 1500k+.......a friend of mine got still 2 of them .....and sold his Lore for 1.....coz he wanna get both types....
