How to get the "Impossible Trinket"

How to get the "Impossible Trinket" in the Space Station.

The whole thing

So in a certain room in the Space Station, there is a Trinket that seems impossible to obtain. I have figured out how to get this. There may be a different way without dying, but this is the only thing I could come up with.
(1) So, when you enter the room, get the checkpoint. Do NOT get any other checkpoints until you re-enter the room on the upper area.
(2) When you get there, stand on the disapearing platform. The moving platform will then move right.
(3) After that, stand on the ceiling above the spikes. Flip when the moving platform is in the area it couldn't previously access,
(4) When you die, you should be at the checkpoint mentioned earlier in the guide. (Labeled with 1). Once you are there, time your flip/fall to land on the moving platform.
(5) Flip back down when you're over the trinket and claim your prize.

END NOTE:

Again, I apoligize this isn't for a no-death run, but this is all I could do. If you happen to know how to do this without dying, please say so in the comments. Thank you for reading.

Haha, I remember playing this on 3DS as a kid, never did I ever see this as an "impossible trinket," it's just another part of the game that makes you think.

Crappy Paint? I think not. Paint is cool. If you look at another guides in connection with VVVVVV there are other guys who used paint as well. It's just like Movie Maker and Vegas. Who doesnt like to make professional videos and wants a simple and good working program can get it. Paint is said to be the program of noobies but hey not everybody can be a Photoshop artist! :D Best regards from Ka-Boom a Paint using guy xD ;)
