Hello Today I will be walking you through the guide of anger management and anti-keyboard damage this guide is for super meat boy one of the hardest most difficult rage game out there (that I know of) I will be explaining the characters and their own abilities and strengths as well and secrets,warp zones and achievements as well as gameplay basics and downloading custom maps from the game.

Anti-Rage

Rage, especially now, in this most crucial of times, is the most important emotion to heal. And yet, rage is one of the most misunderstood emotions. Rage, in a healed state, is always appropriate. It can help protect us and help move us out of situations that don't feel good like the boss battles. It carries our ability to say "no ♥♥♥♥ this". Rage isn't perhaps the right word here, however, because in its origins, and in a healed state, rage is not rage. It grows from a seed of anger, which is usually in response to continual fail over and over again. If the anger is allowed to express naturally and do its job, it never grows to rage or worse, to hatred. I suggest buying a punching bag and some boxing gloves to keep your anger low through the playthough of the game. or you can cry aboot it. It's important to remember that none of us is without emotional backlog. That may seem to be an obvious statement, but it's critical to remember when dealing with other people and rage expression. You may find yourself triggered by something a person says or does like "you suck at this game", but your reaction carries the weight of years and lifetimes of backlogged rage. Is it fair to throw the full weight of that baggage at the person in front of you? Rage will always say yes

. And sometimes justice says yes, it's fair, especially if you're facing someone who abused, neglected or abandoned you during your playthrough. But no matter how much you want to beat them up and punish them with the full force of all your pent up rage, try to remember that the goal here is completing the game, not WWE.

Gameplay Basics

Although the controls simply consist of movement, jumping and sprinting, it does take a while to totally master piloting Meat Boy. Balancing his speed and height combined with timing mean the controls are more complex than is initially apparent but made easy by extremely accurate and reliable response times. You will be climbing up walls and jumping to narrow ledges whilst avoiding the many death traps. Performing these tricky actions, you will realise that the game is one of the most precise platformers ever made. The work gone into this element really elevates the game: it is tight, fluid and a lot of fun. This fluidity is found also in the short load times and the almost instantaneous respawns after dying.As Meat Boy is essentially a cube of raw meat, his squishy exterior is very vulnerable to the external world.

The main story of the game is spaced across 5 different locations, each of which corresponds to a chapter in the game. Each location contains 20 levels filled with unique hazards and threats to Meat Boy’s fragile existence. The forest contains buzz saws, the hospital has syringes lying around and the salt factory is self-explanatory. The idea is to traverse each level in order to rescue Bandage Girl, but upon reaching her she is whisked away by Dr. Fetus once again. If Meat Boy touches any of the hazards he is killed instantly and reset to the beginning of the level. This may sound frustrating and at times and of course it can be (if you need help with this part go back to section one), especially since you will be dying a lot. Luckily the 20 levels in each chapter can be completed in any order so in a sense you will never be stuck on just one level.

Characters And Abilites

Super Meat Boy has unlockable characters that can be obtained, provided the player either beats a character specific warp zone or collects enough Bandages.Some characters require a code to be typed on the character select screen. Once the code is typed, just select the character who is currently selected. The code must be typed every time you want to play as that character.

Warp Zones & Secrets

A warp zone is a wormhole found on some levels that disappears after a certain amount of time. If the player touches it, Meat Boy gets sucked in and a voice saying "WARP ZOOONE!!!" is heard. The warp zone is permanently unlocked on the map. Warp zones consist of three miniature levels. There are two types of warp zones:

Bandage Warp Zone
Appears three times per world. (2 in light world, 1 in dark world) When entered, the player needs to beat three retro-style levels with two bandages with meat boy with only three lives. Fortunately, your lives are brought back up to three when you beat a stage. If the player acquires a bandage in one of these, he/she needs to beat the entire warp zone to keep it. They can be either 8-bit, 4-bit, or gameboy style. When viewing them from the map, they are purple in the light world, and black vice-versa. They do not appear in Chapter 6 or 7. When beaten some characters saying "Sorry Meat Boy but Bandage Girl is in another Warp Zone"

Character Warp Zone
Appears once per world. You get unlimited lives, and you play as a new character. There are the usual three levels, and you must use the character's special ability to beat the level. There's also an introduction for the character. Once you beat the warp zone, the character you played as in the warp zone becomes unlocked. When being viewed from the map, or when entering one, they are red. Like Retro Warp Zones, these also don't appear in Chapters 6 or 7.

Custom Maps And Level Editor

-Playing Custom Maps
In order for you to play custom maps does not envolve the steam workshop but instead its called super meat world (left of the forest) where you can play others maps that they have created all a very simple thing to do. You can also chose levels by difficulty and ratings by other users, There is also a reccomended chapter tab.


-Dowloading And Using Map Editor
1. Launch Steam, and click Library.

2. Click All Games, then select Tools from the drop down menu.

3. Find Super Meat Boy Editor in your Tools list and launch it (1mb download) and you're ready to make your first ♥♥♥♥ level!
