Europa Universalis V Multipolar Moment

Description
Introduction:
The Multipolar Moment is a mod starting in 2025. We are very much aware of the amount of uncertainty concerning the future. That’s sort of why we wanted to make this mod in the first place. EUV provides the best simulation environment we’ve seen yet and there is a lot of data out there. Through thousands of hours already sunk into this project, we tried to gather as much information as possible about the current state of the world.

What we aim for:
A total overhaul mod that tries to simulate the many diverging paths of the next 200 years of human history. Will humanity tackle climate change? Will we avoid World War III? How will Robots change society? Take matters into your hands and see how the future unfolds.

Where we are now:
The location map is the backbone of the game. We are in the process of completely redrawing the world map with North America, Europe and parts of East Asia done. By done we mean over 10.000 locations are already good to go with precise administrative boundaries and population data. With the rest of the world, most of the research is done and we slowly move ahead with incorporating the data. We plan on highlighting developments as we progress. We’ve been working tirelessly for months now and we intend to continue working on this project for the foreseeable future.

What this mod will offer:
- An all new, meticulously hand-crafted map
- Updated Vegetation
- New and Updated Climate
- Updated and Precise Population Distribution Globally
- New Pop Types
- New Trade Goods
- New Buildings
- New Production Methods
- New Advances
- New Laws and Policies
- New Societal Values
- New Characters
- New International Organizations
And much more!

Disclaimer:
We know that modern politics is incredibly polarised and many issues don’t have objective solutions. We will try to take as much of our biases out of the equation as possible but we acknowledge that we may not strike the right balance sometimes. Your input will help immensely so we welcome any (civilized) opinions and good faith arguments.

This is currently a shell for the mod, so it will be EMPTY when you download it. We will upload content as it gets ready. Thank you for your patience!

We really can't see that far ahead yet, sorry... I would say a frontline system is most likely too big of a challenge, maybe for anyone. However, new units with larger unit counts is a given, also we can play with modifiers so that it requires a different type of army management from the player. We would like to do this in some form. Also, my guess is that by the time we get there, Paradox changes things as well, so we'll see about those too.

How will you tackle the challenges of modern warfare within the structure of EU5? Would you be able to introduce a frontline system or you are going to rely on the army system from the vanilla game ?

Oh this looks so promising! Thank you for your work!
