IJN Kagero-class Destroyer Yukikaze

"I'm the 8th ship of Kagero-class destroyers, Yukikaze. Please take good care of me!"

A replica of the Kagero-class destroyer, Yukikaze in its 1944 remodel.

The ship costs 156k material, while it isn't extensively tested in campaign, it shouldn't be too underpowered to be used in campaign against medium and hard enemies. The details are as following:

4 x 12.7cm/50 Type 3 DP guns in 2 dual mount (Type C dual mount, -7/+55 degrees) (APHE APS)
15 x 25mm Type 96 AA guns (Kinectic APS)
8 x 610mm Type 93 Long Lance torpedoes in 2 quadruple torpedo mount (Medium Torpedoes)

* For upgrading armor, you can use the armor refit option to replace Metal of color 11 to Heavy Armor to reinforce vital regions including the barbettes, AI compartment, engine compartment, ammo compartment.

I am planning on doing a modernized refit of the ship in the 70s or 80s under the ROCN and also an Amatsukaze under the PLAN in an alternate history scenario. If things go well, I might also do an IF remodel for the IJN Kagero class (for an alternate history where WW2 prolonged). Please look forward for the modernized Kagero-class in the heat of Cold War!
