Building a sentry nest fastest way - In Depth Testing

Here I will present you some time testing about how you can build up a sentry nest (dispenser, sentry; excluding teleporters) the fastest way. In short: What to upgrade first?

Introduction / Basic Testing Conditions

Due to my own interest, I measured the time, how long it takes to upgrade both your sentry and your dispenser to level 3 when using the stock wrench and picking up no ammo boxes. Also, it is provided that you keep hitting your buildings while they build (speed up progress) to get the same results.
The question is: Should I upgrade the Sentry Gun first, then the Dispenser or upgrade the Dispenser first and then the Sentry? What is the fastest way to do it?
INFORMATION GIVEN IN THIS GUIDE IS OUTDATED DUE TO THE FACT THAT VALVE CHANGED BUILDING SPEED OVERALL AND FIXED THE JAG

The Results

Dispenser lvl1 building, Sentry lvl 3, then Dispenser lvl3
Start for Dispenser and time to collect enough metal for sentry: 16s
Building Sentry and Upgrade to lvl3: 60s
Dispenser Upgrade lvl3: 53s
Total: 129s

Dispenser lvl2, Sentry lvl3, then Dispenser lvl3
Building and Upgrading Dispenser to lvl2: 24s
Building and Ugrading Sentry to lvl3: 62s
Ugrading Dispenser lvl3: 24s
Total: 116s

Dispenser lvl3, then Sentry building and to lvl3
Dispenser building and upgrading: 45s
Building and ugrading Sentry: 55s
Total: 100s



Conclusion
When trying to build a base fastest way possible, upgrade the Dispenser first and then the Sentry. However, if you are on the go, it's better to have a Sentry up, before the Dispenser, in order to have sort of a bigger firepower when trying to defend yourself. When it comes to Teleporters, it is even more worth it, to invest in a lvl3 Dispenser before starting to build said teleporter.

Tips to speed up the progress even more

• Use the Jag.This wrench gives you the ability to construct your buildings 15.79% faster. This is calculated by the TF2 wiki and contradicts to what the normal game stats say. At the cost, you will loose some melee damage which will affect you in that way that you kill a Spy in 3 instead of 2 hits. So keep that in mind.
  
  
  
• Pick up ammo boxes while your Dispenser generates metal
  Ammo boxes always give you at least 40 metal and guns fill your supply, too. Pick both up while your Dispenser is busy. You won't loose much time as long as you don't run too far away.
  
  
• Use team work
  Help other Engineers and they will help you. Sometimes, they are even that nice that they upgrade everything for you, while you are invading the enemy base and building a teleporter near the objective.
  

When reached perfection, this may be at the enemy spawn door. :P
