Full 4k Remaster

This guide will direct you to where you may enjoy a true vanilla remastering of this gem in its highest quality

About the Mod

This mod takes literally EVERY texture in the game aside from the UI and upscales it all to full 4k resolution via resampling everything via Lanczos2 and then ran them threw my licensed copy of gigapixel to sharpen, denoise, and fix possible compression artifacts.

Install Guide

To install my texture pack all you literally need to do is get the latest version of iortcw from here[github.com].

Then download my pack via here/moddb or from my own personal link here[drive.google.com]

Then once you have iortcw installed and config it to your liking you just need to extract the "Main" folder without quotes with all its contents to where you have ioWolfSP.x64.exe / ioWolfMP.x64.exe located

Then you will want to run ioWolfSP.x64.exe / ioWolfMP.x64.exe, Singleplayer or Multiplayer.

Then locate where the configs are stored on your PC at %USERPROFILE%\Documents\RTCW\main\

Open wolfconfig.cfg / wolfconfig_mp.cfg

Search for seta r_ext_compressed_textures, if it does not exist, add it

Change its setting to be 1 and save the config


(OPTIONAL INSTRUCTIONS TO RUN THE GAME AT THE SAME QUALITY I DO)
I am also providing my personal wolfconfig.cfg that has the settings I use for iortcw

All you need to do is extract the provided wolfconfig.cfg to %USERPROFILE%\Documents\RTCW\main\ and if prompted overwrite

& if you wish you may make a copy of the cfg in the same folder and rename the copy cfg to wolfconfig_mp.cfg so itll apply to the multiplayer portion of the game.
