I really think that salad would be best experienced hot if the lettuce didn't go all soggy and limp. Dressings included. Like, I'm picturing a bowl of greens with a hot cranberry dressing on it, and it seems like it would kick ass. I just feel like if we (as a society) give croutons the same sort of leniency when they go soggy, then we should at least give hot salad a fighting chance. You know what I mean?
