Jake

Jake, the fluffy and comfortably dressed self-insert of JakeP78, joins Smack Studio! He is just a normal dude who doesn't try to portray himself as more than that, and though he is normally chill and easygoing, he can become rather hyper when something truly excites him, such as an intense Smack Studio match.

Jake is a swordfighter who wields a simple gold sword and has a rather simple and straightforward moveset. For his special moves, he whips out a series of unconventionally crafted weapons built of various colorful gemstones.

NEUTRAL SPECIAL: Ruby Gash
Jake slams a heavy red ruby sword straight downward. It is a slow attack that is difficult to connect, but is extremely powerful and satisfying when it does. It can be dodge cancelled, and Jake can switch directions before swinging the blade.

SIDE SPECIAL: Sapphire Arrow
Jake whips out a bow and fires an arrow straight forward upon releasing B. Hold until you hear a *ding* for a fast and strong arrow!

UP SPECIAL: Emerald Flight
Jake rockets upwards into the air, swinging an emerald green sword at any airborne opponents in his path. If Jake successfully hits an opponent, he will not go into freefall and is free to continue doing aerial attacks.

DOWN SPECIAL: Amethyst Reflex
Jake whips out a purple amethyst sword that enhances his cat-like reflexes, then parries incoming attacks upon contact.

ULTRA: Topaz Saber
Jake dashes straight forward with a large golden yellow topaz sword in hand, then unleashes a series of mighty slashes upon any victim standing in his path. He can switch directions just before he sprints forward.

BONUS QUIRKY ANTICS
Jake has two taunts! To trigger the second taunt, hold UP on the joystick and press the TAUNT button!
