Description
Original Beautiful Version by 逝去的十月 and Sine

Replaces AK, contains sounds and VGUI


☆ New origin; the viewmodel will no longer obstruct most of the screen.

☆ This weapon mod is meant to be played on FOV 60 and above. See the video for reference.

☆ The "grab" animation looks a bit glitchy in Valve Servers as the timings are off. The original mod had this issue and I don't know how to fix it.
This bug DOES NOT occur in Local Servers.

☆ The firing sound doesn't sound too silenced, because I can't find a good and "punchy" sound for a silenced rifle.
You can share your ideas in the comment section; suppressed rifles are loud irl anyways...


Other Changes:
- Slower reload time - to fit the AK reload time
- New optic (Aimpoint T2) to free up screen space; reduced its phong value
- Slightly modified the VGUI icon so it looks cohesive with the default HUD
- Relocated the Laser / Flashlight attachment
- Now uses AK sound events (instead of M16's)
- TLS bones, no TLS skins

Ahh i see, i did mess with the $origin in the qc and broke the animations lol. thanks for answering!

if you just decompile viewmodels directly, there is a very high chance that the animations will be completely broken. its much faster to just ask the original animator

experiment with $origin in the qc, but the catch is that you need the source files from the animator

Great stuff! The original mod is good, but as you said, it obstructs most of the screen. Also, is there a tutorial on how to do the minmod thing? I'd like to try making minimized weapons, but can't seem to find a tutorial for it.

i dont use m16 in the actual game. i play realism expert and hard 8 only. m16 is just not good in those modes
