Description
Have the chance a lost mechanitor platform after scanning to provide extra Biotech/Odyssey Integration. Collect lots of mechanitor loot and even fight bosses on the platform. Be prepared the mechanoids won't let the loot go without a fight.

Randomly generated rooms and scaling vanilla loot from the Biotech implants that sometimes go unnoticed!

Comment what other DLCs and ideas y'all want to see for sites in space!

Works with existing saves just is found by either hacking an ancient uplink found at landmarks or using an orbital scanner.

I got two platforms at the same time and completely maxed my mechanitor with a single one and got more than two full stacks of high cores. More than 10.000 silver in spare implants. The reward is too insane right now. Need tweaking, tuning down and maybe adding the probability of a mechanitor corpse or mechanoid transponder. The walls are removable by Minify Anything unlike other hostile stations, and the doors claim thing. Good mod, hope to see updates, there are many ideas to explore, maybe use more cluster components or conventional security systems to defuse.

On another topic, holy hell the reward is still too unbalanced compared to other mods. Also there are some issue like doors not being openable until you claim it manually. It also really needed more loot variation. Like even basic resource like component and plasteel would be nice. I would also really suggest not to have wastepack atomizer spawn since it breaks the progression of having to beat the apocriton first

Not having mechlink loot is completely fine. There are other safer quest variant you're supposed to get instead of this anyway

I have the exact same opinion on the lack of mechlink as kerbeh but he said it in such an annoying and obnoxious way I no longer agree.

Nah, he got a point. Not having a mechlink, the item that is a prerequisite to acces anything mech related in a quest site that is dedicated to mechanitor is truly a decision of all time.

Are there any conditions for these platforms to appear? They appeared frequently in Odyssey, but never in SOS2. However, vanilla and anomalous platforms do appear.

Inspiration comes and goes, though these have all been very nice so far and I do hope we'll eventually see more like it. Odyssey burns out very quickly, more event variety would certainly be welcome!
