Introduction
So you are now a piece of bread trying to get toasted, but are you bready? This guide will help you with the basics and some slightly more advanced stuff. It will also help you get through the levels and some secrets in them too! Enjoy!

PLEASE NOTE: THIS GUIDE IS NO LONGER BEING UPDATED.
Movement
The very basics of this game is just getting to the toaster, or whatever item you are trying to get to that may or may not toast you. I would recommend using a controller for this game, so I will focus on that.

Keyboard: 1, 2, 3, 4 is to grab/flip, q, w, e, r is to hold objects. Right click is to look around. Arrow keys to move.

Controller (Recommended): Xbox: LT, RT, LB, RB to grab/flip, X, B, Y, A to hold objects. Right joystick is to look around and left joystick is to move. Playstation: L1, L2, R1, R2 to grab/flip, Square, Circle, Triangle and X to hold objects. Right joystick to look around and left joystick to move.

There are multiple ways to move:

Shuffle: Just using the 'move' button/s to shuffle slowly around on the surface. Very slow, but good for positioning.

Flipping: Hold two of the 'grab' buttons, then move the joystick up then whichever direction you are looking at, then repeat. This flips you over onto your other side, therefore moving you a bread-length or bread-width. Quite hard to get the hang of but quite easy when you get it.

Wall Climbing:

Wall climbing is a vital part of this game, so you're going to need to get good at it. If you can 'flip' well, then this is quite easy. You just flip up the wall, making sure that you have atleast 1 (preferably 2) corners grabbing the wall at all times. Rotating whilst climbing walls is very difficult.

Rotating:

This may seem easy, but rotating is actually quite hard. Grab with one corner, then simply spin. It sounds very simple, but you often end up spinning too far or not enough.
Edibility + Grab
At the top-left of your screen, you can see an edibility bar. This will deplete if you touch the floor or other rather dirty items. Once it reaches 0, you lose. The lower your edibility bar is when you become toast and complete the level, the less points you get. Be careful though as some items, like fish bones or egg shells, deplete your edibility bar.

The grab bar is the circular bar in the top-middle of your screen. This will slowly deplete when grabbing or holding objects, so be careful when climbing walls as you could fall. When the grab bar is empty, you lose all your grip. Try to time your wall climbing perfectly and do it fast!
Spreads
There are various spreads and other items that you can use to help you or hinder yourself with. The more items you have on you, the higher your deliciousness is, no matter how disgusting you look! Deliciousness gives you more points, and is acquired through spreading things like Jam on yourself. It is showed at the end of the level. However, spreads are not just for deliciousness! Here is a nearly full list of spreads. (Only ones I have found).

Note: Most of them give you deliciousness.

Jam: You can find jam jars which you can smash, leaving a puddle of nice sticky jam. Move on top of it and cover yourself in it for more deliciousness. However, there is more to this than just deliciousness, as it makes you stickier! It can make it harder to 'flip' or 'shuffle', so don't put too much of it on you. It can help you stick to walls without grip though! The tag on the glass names this jam 'Fruit Flavoured Jam'.

Butter: This classic spread is obtained similarly to jam, except it is not in a jar. Spread this on yourself for a slippery boost! Have fun sliding across surfaces if your entire piece of bread is buttered!

Baked Beans: Another sticky substance, but not as sticky as jam.

Fish Bones: Don't get these stuck to you, as they decrease your edibility! I'm not sure if this one actually gives you deliciousness.

Honey: In another jar, this time orange! The tag on this jar says 'Buzzy Bee's Bee Juice'. This makes no obvious difference to your performance, except deliciousness!

Sweets: Bulky sweets that are slightly sticky, but also make it a lot harder to move because they are big.

Eggs: You can get egg stuck to you, which is sticky like Jam. Be warned though, as getting egg shell on you is bulky and depletes your edibility!

Crisps: Only on Kitchen, these are pretty good. Apart from being a little bulky, crisps only give you deliciousness!

*I will come back and add/edit this when I find more*
Gamemodes
There are now 6 gamemodes in I Am Bread, all completely different.

Story: In Story mode you are given some strange story about Mr. Murton (the owner of the house) and the Bread at the start of each level and you have to toast yourself (how to toast in next section). In this gamemode you are the 'Wholemeal' bread type.

Free Roam When you are playing Free Roam you, unsurprisingly, you have no edibility and there is no objective. Loaf Around! You can also choose your bread type once you have got so far in the gamemode with a certain bread.

Cheese Hunt: In Cheese Hunt, you must find 5 cheese to stick onto your 'Cracker' bread! There is no edibility, but upon impact you slowly lose integrity.

Rampage: Rampage is where you must cause maximum destruction! You are a 'Baguette' with no edibility bar, but only 2 points to move as you are more linear. Destroy objects to gain points, but be quick as you only have 2 minutes!

Bagel Race: In Bagel Race you are a Bagel and you must traverse the terrain to collect plates, and then reach the final plate at the end (the glowing beacon). The maps have been changed for this gamemode, as there are cardboard ramps everywhere. To win you must get to the final plate within a certain time, but beware, as there will be obstacles!

Zero G: Same objective, same level, no gravity! You must find your way to get toasted by controlling your toast with jets attached to each corner and side. With harder controls and floating objectives this can prove difficult. Try not to use too much fuel though!

To unlock levels in every gamemode except Story, you must first complete the level in Story mode.
Get Toasted
(Story Mode)
So, your goal is to get toasted, so here is how:

(Difficulty rating: E = Easy, M = Medium, H = Hard)

Kitchen:
(M)Toaster: Located at the other end of the kitchen, the toaster will toast both your sides quickly, but it is tricky to get into.
(E)Hob: Next to the sink, the hob needs to be turned on using the switches on the top of it. After that it will toast one side a time.
(H)Rocket: There is a rocket on top of the shelves above the work surface. Upon impact, it will activate and fly around the room with flames erupting from it. If you can get into the line of the flames, both sides will quickly be toasted!
(M)Oven: Below the hob, the oven door can be opened. There is another switch above the oven door which turns it on. After that, simply get in the oven and toast one side at a time.

Lounge:
(M)Heater: At the other side of the room is the heater. You have to turn it on by hitting a switch on the side of it, then the grill will become hot and you can toast one side at a time.
(M)TV: By knocking the bowling ball off the shelf above the TV, you can break the TV which will then toast a side at a time when you are lying on it.
(H)Lamp: The lamp, near the heater, will toast one side at a time if you are touching the bulb.

Bedroom:
(M)Iron: The iron on the ironing board in the middle of the room is a quick way to toast one side at a time.
(E)Hair Straightener: It's quite hard to get in the hair straightener, but you can just rest on the side if you're in the right position and it will toast you. It is located on the desk the other side of the room.
(H)Lamp: The lamp, next to the door, will toast one side at a time if you are touching the bulb.

Bathroom:
(E)Hair Dryer: Next to the bath, the hair dryer will quickly and easily toast you once turned on. To turn it on, push the button located on the front of it.
(M)Radiator: Simply lie on this and toast, albeit slowly. If you are on the side of it, you toast much quicker.

Garage:
(M)Lawn Mower: In one of the corners of the garage is a red lawn mower. Clicking the button on top of it will make the metal part toast you. Beware though, as clicking the button also makes it suddenly move!
(E)Boiler: The Luke-Warm boiler in the corner of the room (near the vacuum cleaner) has a switch on the side of the room. After that, simply lie on top of the boiler to get toasted! This is a very easy method, but it's quite the trek to get there.

Garden:
(H)Car Hood: After turning the car on, the vents on the hood of the car will toast your bread one side at a time.
(H)Barbecue: If you light the match (above the barbecue) and throw it on the coals of the barbecue located behind the car, then you can toast!

General:
(H)Ceiling Light: On all levels (except Garage and Garden) there is a light on the ceiling, which is very hard to get to. However, if you can get to it, it toasts you similarly to the lamp.
Secrets
There are various funny secrets and hidden easter eggs in this game that I found quite funny that I will list here:

P.S. They don't actually help you, it's just funny.

Kitchen:
Washing Machine: You can turn the washing machine on and watch it spin. You can also get in it, but it's very difficult to open the door and if the washing machine is turned on, you will have to prepare to shortly be the other side of the room! (It flings you rather hard). I recommend trying to do this in Free Roam mode.
Happy Holidays!: In the Christmas season, the letters on the fridge spell 'Bappy Olidays!', with the H's close by.

Lounge:
Right Said Bread: A music disc called 'Right Said Bread' by 'I'm too Yeasty'.
Yeasty Boys: A music disc called 'Yeasty Boys' by 'Check Your Bread'.
Teapot House: Below the music discs is a house, with a handle and a spout.
Loaf Actually: Six old video tapes called 'Loaf Actually', five together and one on it's own.
Toastbusters: An old video tape called 'Toastbusters'.

Bedroom:
Nothing here yet.

Bathroom:
Nothing here yet.

Garage:
Loaf Actually: Some more video tapes called 'Loaf Actually'.
Yeastenders: Some video tapes called 'Yeastenders'.

Garden:
Lily Pads: The lily pads in the pond move quite fast if you nudge them whilst being on top of one of them.
Number Plate: The number plate on the car is 'BR34D'.

General:
Cat Picture: As soon as you break any framed picture, the picture turns into a funny cat picture.
Book Names: There are many books named after real books but with a bread pun. These are the ones I have found so far: Encyclopedia Breadtanica Volume II, Encyclopedia Breadtanica Volume III, Beauty and the Yeast, Baking Money, A Hat Full Of Rye.
Glitches
For an early access game, it has surprisingly few obvious glitches.

Identified Flying Object (IFO): You can make medium-sized objects like saucepans and plates fly with you on them! You have to lie flat on the object then hold the object with all four corners, then with two corners at a time, lift it! You will have to constantly switch corners too.

Going Through Objects: I once made the lamp in Bedroom fall over, with me inside it. I glitched through the lamp and lost all of my edibility bar. This also happened in Lounge.

Glitchy Wire: The wire connecting to the hair dryer on Bathroom has a tendancy to randomly move.

Grab Glitch: When grabbing beans or jam you can sometimes fly. *Needs to be tested*

Strawberry Glitch: When you look inside a jar of strawberry-flavoured jam, you can see some strawberries inside it, yet when you break it they disappear!

PlayStation Inverted Controls: When playing with a remote with PlayStation controls active, R1 + L1 and R2 + L2 are inverted.

Car Door: You can phase through part of the car door in Garden.

I found out on Kitchen that you can infact steer the skateboard you need to grab it (grab it like not the grip keys) and just nudge it and it steers!
