Purpose of the Guide
The purpose of this guide, is to quickly find your way out of it and unlocks the possibility of exploring it, if the player chooses to do so for whatever reason they might have. Plus, it's always nice to know the layout of the place you are in the game. You can definitely just pick a direction you want go to and keep sticking to that direction only until you're out of the place if reaching the exit is your only purpose.
Step One: Bring a Map
Even a poorly drawn one will do just fine.

The above image is basically a rough idea of what the underground mine layout looks like.
Step Two: Know How to Read the Map
Despite how awful my drawing skill is, I assume that no one should be having a lot of troubles trying to use the map. However, I'm going to add some explanations anyway on how you can use it to your advantage.

Legend
  • S: Your starting point.
  • CRX: A crossroad where X is the number assigned to it.
  • H:This is the place where the main character finds some abandoned mining tools.
  • CF: This is the place where the main character finds a cave-like mining site.
  • E: This is the place that you want to go to.

A Brief Explanation
I'm not quite sure how to put this into words that are easily understandable, so here's an example of how you'd use the map.

Imagine that you're this little triangle on the map, from the starting point (i.e. S/CR1), you decide that you want to go left, and you now end up at CR3. You are now presented with another fork in your path. This time, going left will get you to H, while going right will get you to CR5.

Here's another example. If you've arrived at CR3 from CR5. To your right is H and your left is S/CR1

I hope that's easy enough for everyone to understand.

Note
Additionally, there are a few things that you should note, such as:
  • When you arrive back at S/CR1, you are essentially starting from the beginning. Going left means arriving at CR3 while going right means arriving at CR2.
  • If you end up at CF, you'll automatically return to CR13 and be facing away from CF. To your left would be CR2 and your right would be CR12.
  • Arriving at H from CR10 will automatically move you to CR3 and vice versa.
Step Three: Use the Map to Quickly Get Out of There
This is going to be pretty easy if you're at S/CR1. The following sequence should get you to the exit fairly quick.

  1. From S/CR1, go right to reach CR2.
  2. Take another right and you'll end up at CR13.
  3. This time take a left to get to CR12.
  4. Now take another right to reach CR11.
  5. Again, go right and you'll reach E, the exit!

TL;DR: From the starting point, go RRLRR.

I'm Lost! Help?
There isn't exactly a reliable way to tell where you are. Fear not, however, all is not lost. If you're not sure where you are, there's this silly trick that you can do to figure out where you are. Basically what you need to do is trigger any of the possible events that could occur like going back to the starting point, in which case the main character would say that they returned to the place where they begun. So here's what you should do, either randomly pick left or right OR keep sticking to one direction (whichever you want) at each fork you encounter (WARNING: There's a risk that you'll be stuck in an infinite loop if you choose this method, therefore I recommend the former one). An example of getting stuck in a loop would be something like the following:

  1. You arrive at CR5 from CR4 but you don't actually know where you are
  2. You've decided to keep going right until something happens.
  3. As you keep heading right, you'll realise that you're not getting anywhere close to the exit, because you'll be traversing this route over and over again: CR5 - CR7 - CR8 - CR9 - CR6 - CR4

If you feel like you've been trapped in a loop, use the other strategy!

Eventually, you'll end up in one of the following situations:

  • You're at E! Hurray! Let's get out of here!
  • You're back at S/CR1. You'd know this when you see just another crossroad but your character says "[I/We] returned to the place where [I/we] begun."
  • You reach H, then you're moved automatically to either CR10 or CR3. At this point, to figure out where you are, take a right, if the main character says that they're back at the starting point (see the quote above), that means you're at S/CR1. Otherwise, you're at CR7.
  • You reach CF. Since this place is pretty much a dead end, you'll be returned to CR13. Going left will get you to CR2 and going right will get you to CR12.
Questions and Feedback
This is probably one of the worst guides that one could find on Steam Community. Not really surprising if you feel that way, this is the first guide I've ever created after all. I'm open to some suggestions or corrections that could improve the guide, feel free to leave them as a comment. If you've got some questions regarding the map or need some additional explanations, leave a comment as well and I'll try my best to give you a better understanding of it :D

Well I am sure it is like that. Indie games are not as hard as AAA games; However, this game is an adult game with a patch on the creators site. (All it is a file to enable the very very few pics I removed it because I rather have it PG it does not change the game and imagination is better lol)

While playing through the game for the first time, I just chose to follow the electrical cables on the wall of the mine, guessing that they would lead me to some kind of room in the end. Don't know if it was meant to be like that or it was a just coincidence...

If you always take a left, you must be a nascar driver. :P
