Description
Faction Upgrade is my series of mods aimed at improving the various factions of the Kenshi world. The mod will affect the following things:

1. Weapons and armour
2. Cities and bases
3. Units
4. Dialogues
5. Starts

The Faction Upgrade (Blackshifters) mod aims to improve the faction of the same name.

Changes:

Town

The secret drug farm has become inhabited. It is inhabited by the Blackshifters gang, led by Boss Hash, a protégé of Big Darkbrow. If you don't have an alliance with this gang, you will be attacked, but if you do, you will be offered to work as a courier, which you can earn good money from.

Lore and dialogues

There is now an option for swarms to join a gang. Big Darkbrow will offer two jobs - a casino hustler and a bouncer. Both paths will differ in challenges, as well as the salary that the player will receive in case of success.

Start

Added a new start for a former member of the Blackshifters, who lost his arm in a fight, and with it his job. The alliance with the gang remains, but that's it.

Weapons and Armour.

I've replaced the gang's bulky weapons with lighter and faster weapons, just in the spirit of those swamp yakuza. Also added a few new leather jackets, especially for the faction. You can buy them only in the swamp.

(IMPORTANT! These modifications are already included in my mod and do NOT need to be installed).

@Azamat97El Damn, you've convinced me. I'm using a mod that adds southern hivers to the gang, they've gone from cool guys to super cool guys

Yes but the first to run is Boss Hash, if be die, i will never can get the courier job

Flash As far as I know, only a couple of guards can run out, and even then not always. Everyone else stays in place, either near the fire or working. The boss should be near a small house or inside. If this is not the case, there may be a conflict with another mod. Try disabling other mods and check again.

allies in the swamps, access to grass sales close to the southern cities. and in general, being in the hiver gang is damn cool)

Flash a closed base is a necessary measure. Without closed gates, the settlement will be destroyed in a matter of minutes, either by animals or by bandits, as there are a lot of them in this region. Even a large guard detachment does not solve the problem. Therefore, the gates must be closed, as Boss Hash constantly reminds you.

I find a bug on This mod regarding to the base update of secret drive farm, the base is locked and the squad is stuck inside, after picklocking the gate, the squad of blackshifts that was inside, starts to run outside the base saying that have to protect the base, they don’t do me anything because i test it, with the proper game start that the mod adds

@Azamat97El yeah i agree that having too many defences would make it illogical.
If i may offer some suggestions on the matter... maybe have a look at the 'Gutter Guards Mod' maybe some inspiration from it could be had. Maybe have a system like what 'Guards give a shit Mod' has or even implement it into yours? Maybe high rate healing beds? or Simply add a ton of first aid to their inventories?
I understand modding is complicated so i wish you good luck in whatever you come up with.

stolenwarcry 1. I didn't think of that. The start itself was invented long before the FU mod. Maybe I'll put it in someone's inventory so it can be stolen.
2. About the power, try to use weapons and armor on the character when checking. Maybe that will help.
4. No, unfortunately the flow of enemies does not dry up, and no turrets will not help. Unless you make this place the refuge of the Gods of Olympus, with characteristics 200. That would be pretty damn illogical. I will try to reduce the difficulty of opening the gate, but to be honest I don't know how to do it properly yet.
