Football, Tactics & Glory - 100% Achievements Guide

In this guide, I will walk you through how to unlock all achievements in the game, offering useful tips and multiple strategies to tackle the more challenging ones with ease.

Hey, nice to meet you. I’m glad you found this guide. The achievements are further down, but first comes a wall of text.
First of all, here are a few limitations of this guide:

• I jokingly call this game my “click and wait simulator” because I hardly ever play match days myself; instead, I just simulate through them. That’s why my suggested solutions are tailored to this playstyle. (Devs, please give me an option to simulate longer periods of time, haha.)
  
• My achievements are listed in the same order as they appear on Steam when you buy the game and haven’t unlocked any achievements yet. Because of this, they are not optimized for a single run! The achievements are divided into base game, 1st DLC, and 2nd DLC.
  
• Important for you: this game is very time-consuming, meaning you won’t be able to complete all the achievements quickly! I will also cover the simplest achievements, and most of them you’ll unlock automatically just by playing. However, if that’s not the case, you can read my advice on them.
  
• Also important, make use of the in-game guide! It is surprisingly good, precise, and easy to understand, which surprised me - something not always true for all games.
  
  
• So, now let’s get started.

-> E, PW: If you don’t achieve it while playing, train a CF to have a high Accuracy stat or buy one, and use him to score goals. Stay close to the goal when attempting this.

Bombardier
Use Power Shot to score 5 goals.

-> E, PW: If you don’t achieve it while playing, train a FW/CF to have a high Accuracy stat or buy one, and use him to score goals. You don’t need to be as close to the goal as with the Sniper Achievement.

Cannoneer
Use Cannon Shot to score 5 goals.

-> E, PW: It doesn’t really matter which player has the Cannon Shot skill. What’s more important is the level of that skill and whether the opposing goalkeeper has the Strong Goalkeeper skill. If he does, try again in another match. A good player for this achievement would be an LF or RF. They usually don’t have an opponent directly in front of them, which is important for the skill to work. Alternatively, you can use them to get directly in front of the goalkeeper and then activate the skill.

Brazilian
Use Rainbow Feint to score 5 goals.

-> E, PW: Like with Cannoneer, it doesn’t really matter which player has the Rainbow Feint skill. What’s more important is the skill level and whether the opposing goalkeeper has the Reaction skill. If he does, try again in another match. A good player for this achievement would be an LF or RF. They have the positional skill to cut inside from the wings, which puts them directly in front of the goalkeeper—perfect for using Rainbow Feint.

Venturer
Use Dribbling to score 5 goals.

-> E, PW: Same as with the Brazilian achievement - use a LF or RF. They have the class skill to cut inside from the wings (and don’t forget they should have a high Control stat), which puts them directly in front of the goalkeeper. From there, you can use Dribbling to score a goal.

Assistant
Use Layoff Pass successfully 5 times.

-> E, PW: Just use a player with the Layoff Pass skill to pass the ball to another player. Remember, you can’t use this skill in the first turn if you have the kickoff.

Speedy
Use Nutmeg successfully 5 times.

-> E, PW: Use a player with the Nutmeg skill. Remember, you can’t use this skill in the first turn if you have the kickoff, and there must not be another opponent standing behind the player you're trying to pass.

Defender
Successfully tackle an opponent 5 times.
0 / 5
-> E, PW: Use a Defender or DM with a high defense stat.

Aggressive Defender
Use Sliding Tackle successfully 5 times.

-> E, PW: Use a player with the skill Sliding Tackle.

Savior
Save the goal 5 times by punching the ball to a corner.

-> E, PW: Play and hope that an enemy attacker uses Power Shot and your goalkeeper pushes the ball to a corner. Or use one of your players to run out wide toward your corner flag, let the opponent take the ball, and hope they attempt a Power Shot from that position.

Corner Master
Use Olympic Kick to score 5 goals.

-> E, PW: Use the method mentioned above to get a corner for yourself, but in reverse. Have your player take a Power Shot from the opponent’s corner and hope the enemy goalkeeper pushes the ball into a corner. After that, use a player with the Olympic Kick skill to score a goal.

Talent
Upgrade a talent or skill to level 3 for one player.
-> E, S, PW: This should happen while playing. If not, try buying a player with a level 3 skill (I can’t say for sure if this works - please let me know in the comments) or focus on the Talent specialization tree to unlock it faster.

Old Hand
Your team needs to have at least one footballer of 100th level.
-> E, S, PW: Buy a Level 100 player and sell them in the next transfer phase.
Tip: Use the player in your team for the time being, then sell them in the next transfer period for a guaranteed profit.

Builder
Fully upgrade the stadium.
-> E, S, PW: Pay and earn money. You can use the Fan Favorite specialization tree to earn more when you sell a player.

HR Manager
Hire the best scout, assistant, or coach.
-> E, S, PW: These Upgrades use Glory, and each upgrade increases the cost of the next one. Focus on upgrading the First Youth Coach.

Hot Commodity
Sell a player for more than one million dollars.
-> E, S, PW

Customer
Buy a player for more than five million dollars.
-> E, S, PW

Unstoppable
Score 5 goals during one match (Third League and higher).
-> E, S, PW: Steadily build your team. It happens more often than you think especially in the late game.

Clean Sheet
Don't concede a single goal for 10 consecutive matches (Third League and higher).
-> E, S, PW: Steadily build your team, and it will happen. If not, drop from the Premier League to lower leagues, and this achievement will be yours.

Attacking
Score 5 goals with a Midfielder.

-> E, PW: Use a midfielder with an attacking skill and place him in an attacker position.

Nail-biter
Win the penalty shoot-out after drawing in a Cup match
-> E, PW: Play a cup match and score equally in both legs. Then, win the penalty shootout. Use the “feature” to reset the match if you don’t win the first time.

Lucky
Score a goal with a penalty.
-> E, PW: Play the game - it happens more often than you think.

Wall Destroyer
Score a goal with a direct free kick.
-> E, PW: Play the game. If you get a free kick, use a player with a high accuracy attribute.

Home-made
Score a goal after using Pass or Lofted Pass from a corner.
-> E, PW

Persuasive
Tackle the ball from an opponent under pressure.
-> E, PW: One player uses pressure while another player can get the ball (minimum 2 turns). If you use a CM, you can apply pressure without losing a turn.

Combinatorics
Perform 5 actions in a single turn by successfully using skills.
-> E, PW: Examples are Layoff Pass, Sliding Tackle, Rainbow Feint.

Salvation From On High
Change the outcome of a game by scoring a goal on the last turn.
-> E, PW, (Maybe even S, please confirm in comments)

Team of Stars
Score 3 goals during a match using three different players.
-> E, PW, (Maybe even S - please confirm in comments)

Unemployed
Keep the ball away from your goalkeeper the entire match (Second League and higher).
-> E, PW: If you can’t get it, drop from higher leagues like the Premier League to lower leagues, and this achievement should be yours.

Hard-bitten
Get three corner kicks during a single match.
-> E, PW: Use the above-mentioned method to earn a corner for yourself: Have your player take a power shot near the opponent’s corner and hope the enemy goalkeeper deflects the ball into a corner.

On Fire
Score a goal with a motivated player.
-> E, PW

Marathoner
Win 100 matches (Single campaign).

Young Talent
Buy a 16-year-old footballer.

Contractual Obligation
Extend the contracts of three players for three years.

Star
Upgrade two talents or skills to level 3 for one footballer.
-> E, S, PW: Your goalkeeper is really good for this achievement, or you can buy a player with one level 3 skill and one level 2 skill.

Teamwork
Score 3 goals after Layoff Pass.

Use a Rainbow Feint successfully against a defender and then the goalkeeper (in one turn).
-> E, PW: Having Rainbow Feint level 3 helps. Also, remember to check if the defender and goalkeeper have the Reaction skill. If they do, try it in the next game. Recommended players are LF/RF.

Most Valuable Player
The same player should become a Most Valuable Player three times in a row (Third League and higher).
-> E, S, PW: If you use the simulation, the AI often has favorites, which in turn can become the MVP three times in a row. If not, as always, drop down leagues - that way, you should easily get this achievement.

Nerves of Steel
Win a match after being behind by one or more goals (Second League and higher).
-> E, PW, (Maybe even S - please confirm in comments)

Hero
Take first place in Premier league playing with Hard mode.
-> H, S, PW: Combine it with the Heroic Treble Achievement using the following settings: Hard mode, Iron Manager, and RNG type set to Expected.

Main Continental Cup
Win European, American, or Asian and Oceanian Cup.
-> E, S, PW

Extra cup of the continent
Win the EFA, AFA, or AOFA Cup.
-> E, S, PW

Treble
Win the Premier League, the National Cup and the Continental Cup in the course of one season.
-> E, S, PW

Double Treble
Win a treble two seasons in row.

Heroic Treble
Win a treble in the Hard mode.

-> E, PW: Use a midfielder to play a cross. CFs have the Head Play ability as a class skill, so you don’t need to train them in it.

Develop an amateur defender into a defensive midfielder.

Develop the "Fan favourite" specialisation tree completely.

-> E, S, PW: You have to lose to the same team a few times; this happens during your normal playthrough. If not, lose repeatedly to the same team until they are labeled as your difficult opponent. After that, beat them in one game.

5 stars
Win the Premier League with a team with at least 5 players with the highest giftedness.
-> E, S, PW: You need to have five players with five stars on your team.

Best footballer of the continent
Your team's footballer should be the best footballer in the main continental tournament.
-> E, S, PW

Energetic
Develop the "Stamina" specialisation tree completely.
-> E, S, PW

International footballer
Buy a football player who plays in a foreign club.
-> E, S, PW: Combine it with the "What Do I Pay the Scouts For?" achievement. Go to a foreign club and look for a bad, old, zero-class (a green “?”) player. Buy them for little money and no glory.

Heavy loss
Agree to sell a footballer that another club has asked you for.
-> E, S, PW

What do I pay the Scouts for?
Buy a footballer directly from another club, bypassing transfers.
-> E, S, PW: Combine it with the "International footballer" achievement. Go to a foreign club and look for a bad, old, zero-class (a green “?”) player. Buy them for little money and no glory

Team of the Round
Four or more of your footballers must be in the Team of the Round at the same time.
-> E, S, PW: This is often the case in the endgame.

Team of the Season
Four or more your footballers must be in the Team of the Season at the same time.
-> E, S, PW: This is often the case in the endgame.

Way for the young
Get a footballer from the Youth Academy whose main attribute is higher than any other attribute by 50 or more.
-> E, S, PW: Upgrade your Youth Academy skill tree, focusing on the Youth Academy skill and the First Youth Coach skill.

Realized potential
Successfully complete a skill with a potential of 11 or more.
-> E, PW: The coin flip when using a skill must be 11 or higher.

Risk is a noble cause
Successfully complete a level 1 skill 5 times with lesser potential than the opponent.

The most spectacular final
Your match should be included in the statistics of the most spectacular finals of the main continental tournament.
-> E, S, PW: You can look it up. Go to Tables -> Continental Cups -> European Cup -> Statistics -> More Statistics -> Analytics -> Matches and there you can see what the Most spectacular final was. Score more goals than they did. I had to beat 6 and raised it to 13 against Bursa FC.

Iron Manager
Win the treble in Iron Manager mode on Hard difficulty.
-> E, S, PW: Use these settings: Hard mode, Iron manager, and RNG type: Expected.

Record holder
Win the league with the most points in league history (Second League or higher).
-> E, S, PW: This is trickier. Sometimes you have to play perfect seasons to achieve this, because the record consists of only wins and one draw. So, either build a monster team and try it in the Premier League, or drop down to lower leagues with a really good team. You can look it up: Tables -> Statistics -> More Statistics -> Analytics -> Clubs and look for Most Points in the league

Fragile
Get injured for more than six months.
-> E, S, PW: Pfff, don’t worry - you just wish it didn’t happen as often as it does.

Photo for memory
Save a photo of the team that won any trophy.
-> E, PW: Play or watch the last game before winning a trophy. After the game, you should have the option to take a photo of the team. Doing it anywhere else won’t work.

Negotiation master
Sell a footballer by persuading the club to raise the price twice.
-> E, S, PW: Raising it once or twice shouldn’t be a problem. Three times often gets declined.

The best of the best
Win more Premier League gold trophies than any other team.
-> E, S, PW: This can be reeeally grind-heavy. I’d recommend using a new save file and focusing solely on this—don’t aim for anything else. If you don’t, you’ll end up farming Premier League gold trophies for hours. Use Easy Mode and RNG Type: Expected. If you have more trophies than the other teams but didn’t get the achievement, just play the first game of the next season and it should unlock.

A valuable acquisition
Buy the footballer with the highest giftedness.
-> E, S, PW: Meaning a 5-star rating.

Promising
Get a footballer with the highest giftedness from the youth academy.
-> E, S, PW: Meaning a 5-star rating.

It's just business
Sell the footballer with the highest giftedness.
-> E, S, PW: Meaning a 5-star rating.

Early champion
Win a league 2 or more rounds prior to the end of the championship (Third league or higher).
-> E, S, PW: This should be automatically achieved while pursuing the Record Holder achievement.

Rough play
Get disqualified for 2 yellow cards received in different matches.
-> E, S, PW

A Bogey team
Meet with the team for which you have become a Bogey team.
-> E, S, PW: You have to lose to the same team a few times - this usually happens during a normal playthrough. If not, keep losing to the same team until they’re labeled as your difficult opponent, then face them again.

╒ Manager’s Journey DLC (20 Achievements)

Stranger in Your Own Land
Start the game by accepting an offer from a country different to your nationality.
-> E, S, PW: Normal Game -> Easy Mode -> RNG type Expected -> Next -> Fill in your Name and Surname -> Friendly -> Next -> Choose a country from the continent where you want to play, but don't particularly care about and change the mode to "Full Simulation", if needed -> Look for a job -> Look for Country Settings Change -> And there change the country's points to 1 -> Back -> Continue -> Select a job offer from the modified country

Travelling Manager
Move to another club after successfully completing an objective.
-> E, S, PW: Good achievable with the Good Manager Achievement. So, while looking for (your first/a) job take one where your main goal is not to finish in last place. It’s the easiest one.

International Experience
Train clubs from four different countries over one campaign.
-> E, S, PW: Change the country where your agent searches and switch teams every season.

Good Manager
Complete an objective set by the club management.
-> E, S, PW: Good achievable with the Travelling Manager Achievement While looking for (your first/a) job take one where your main goal is not to finish in last place. It’s the easiest one.

Excellent Manager
Get bonus Reputation Points for performing better than the objective from the club management.
-> E, S, PW: Pick a team with the goal to get promoted and reach the goal faster than the time frame they give you. It’s easier in the lower or lowest league.

Walk the Talk
Accept an invitation from a club with the [Promote to a Higher League] objective and complete this task in Hard Mode.
-> H, S, PW: Settings: Normal Game -> Hard Mode + Iron Manager + RNG type “Expected” -> Next -> Choose how strict the president should be “Friendly” -> Next -> Next -> Assistant + Look for a job -> Continent Strength, change every one to Low except the continent you want to play on -> OK -> Continue
After that, accept an offer during your playthrough and complete it. You can do it while taking your first job from your assistant.

World's Best Manager
Win the Club World Cup.
-> E, S, PW: Take a job offer where your goal is to avoid finishing in last place. After that, try switching to clubs that are in a higher league than your previous one. If possible, move to a good club that wants to stay in the current league, or look out for clubs that have recently been relegated by one or two leagues. These teams often have the best potential to climb back up and may already have a few club upgrades in place. Stay with such a team for a while, and once you've hit their ceiling, move on to another club. Your goal is to join a club that already has many upgrades completed and several players with around 200 attributes in their main category. Personally, I like having Wing Forwards in my team, but be cautious of them on the opposing side. Use Full Backs in front of them to neutralize the threat.

World's Most Iron Manager
Win the Club World Cup in Hard Mode with the Iron Manager option.
-> H, S, PW: Settings: Normal Game -> Hard Mode + Iron Manager + RNG type “Expected” -> Next -> Choose how strict the president should be “Friendly” -> Next -> Next -> Assistant + Look for a job -> Continent Strength, change every one to Low except the continent you want to play on -> OK -> Continue

First Experience
Level up a manager to Level 2.
-> E, S, PW: Just play the game, there is no other way.

Experienced Manager
Level up a manager to Level 50.
-> E, S, PW: Well, just play the game. The more matches you play in one season, the more experience you gain. So, try to participate in all the cups as well.

Nervous but Effective Manager
Yell at your team and score a goal with a motivated footballer in the next half.
-> E, PW: First of all, you need the “Yell at Footballers” coach ability, which you can choose when you level up as a manager. After that, pick a match where you have the kickoff and a good chance to score a goal right away. Before the first half starts, give a motivational speech. Remember, you need enough glory points to use the speech.

Hard Training
Successfully speed up skill learning for three different footballers using hard training.
-> E, S, PW: You need the coach ability “Fast-Track Skill Learning”, which you can unlock when your manager levels up. After that, identify footballers who are learning or upgrading a skill. Go to Training, select Individual Training, and choose the player you want to apply Hard Training to. Select Hard Training, but be careful, there is a risk of injury during this intense training. To minimize the impact, use Hard Training after a match so any injury (which can last 1-7 days) won’t affect your next game. Also, make sure your training grounds and coaches for the different positions are at a high enough level to use Hard Training.

Sweet Promises
Raise the mood of the club management so that it reaches maximum afterwards.
-> E, S, PW: So, I actually had some problems with this achievement. In the Premier League, I didn’t get it and was confused. I did a bit of research and looked at other people’s solutions and here’s what I did: I was in the third league and lost the Prestige Cup in the round of 32. After that, I asked my club for money, but with high odds of being rejected, which left me with a mood of 126. Only then did I talk to them again to improve the management’s mood, choosing the option that gives a 4-12% boost.

Working with Youth
Get a footballer from the Youth Academy after you decide on youth development priorities.
-> E, S, PW: Well, this achievement also requires a coach skill. It has to be from the Youth Work tree. After obtaining one, go to your Club Upgrades, click on Youth Work, and select a prioritization. Then, wait until the next transfer phase to collect your achievement, after getting the player.

Sensitive Coach
Express sincere support to an injured footballer.
-> E, S, PW: You need the coach ability “Sincere Support”, which you can unlock when you level up your manager level and choose it there. After that, wait for a player to get injured. Then, go to your club, scroll down to the Medical Centre and click on “Speed Up Treatment”. Select your injured footballer and choose the “Sincere Support” option.

Any Country will Do
Win the main continental tournament with teams from three different countries.
-> E, S, PW: They talk about the European Cup. This achievement is not that difficult. The hardest part is winning the cup once, but after that, it becomes much easier. Once you’ve won, you’ll receive offers from other top clubs in different countries. However, before leaving your club, change your team line-up, hoping the computer won’t use the best team line-up possible.

You've Been Noticed
Move to a Premier League club from a lower league club.
-> E, S, PW: The lower league club can’t be higher than the Second League and it’s better to build a strong reputation first, because it helps you get offers from Premier League clubs when playing in lower league teams. So, play the game and, after building a good reputation, move to a lower league club (check the box under Coach -> Job -> “I would like to receive offers from clubs in lower leagues”) and afterward return to a Premier League club.

Specialist Manager
Improve 5 manager abilities to the maximum.
-> E, S, PW: Choose those with low star ratings, such as prioritizing goalkeepers, sending scouts to other countries, or footballer prices.

Most Important Match of the Season
Win the final of any cup tournament using the Most Important Match of the Season ability.
-> E, S, PW: You need the coach ability “Most important match of the season”, which you can unlock when you level up your manager level and choose it there. After that, wait for a cup final and remember to motivate your team.

Old Friends are Better than New
Buy a footballer you managed at another club before.
-> E, S, PW: While managing a club, buy a really bad, old, zero-class player and after switching your club, buy this player directly from your former club. Or check your personal list when switching teams within the same league, maybe your old club is selling one of your former (bad) players.
