Description

intro
Since the first day I played this game, I’ve been wondering why courtiers can’t have their own families and children. After learning more about the game, I realized that this is due to serious performance issues.

Courtiers, in many ways, are merely consumable resources in the game. Still, this reduces immersion—I want a more prosperous and lively court. Unfortunately, in the base game, arranging marriages for courtiers is extremely tedious, and I doubt most players have the patience to keep doing it.

That's why I created this mod, and it was inspired by Less Generated Courtiers, Population Variations, Balanced Fertility.

Features
Auto Courtiers Marriages
Marriages or betrothals are triggered within 1 to 10 years after a courtier reaches adulthood(it happens randomly for adults), in order to simulate cases of late marriage and childbearing.
Choose local wandering first, then spawn characters.
The spawning characters' template are drawn from Population Variations, so you get colorful bridegrooms & brides.
I know some of you want courtiers to propose marriage and have the liege approve it, but that spam would make the game’s pop-ups quite annoying.
Current Situations Notified Courtier Can Get Married
it can be turned off by decision.

Auto Guardians of Courtiers' Children Assignment
Parents will always be their children's guardian.

Almost Disabled Pool Mechanics
As I said, large courtier population leads performance issues, which is why this mod — like Less Generated Courtiers — almost entirely removes the duchy character pool system.
Be careful when your courtiers leave your court, as they may disappear permanently. Killing off unnecessary characters is also a way to free up space for the survival of courtiers.
For this mod to function properly, the Population Control mod is required.
Activity Meet Peers Enabled for Courtiers' Children
In vanilla game, you can only invite vassals' children.

Balanced Fertility
Courtiers can have numbers of children just like their lieges. Sterility (infertility) is also enabled.
Reworked Population Control
Release courtiers who are close families of rulers from the grasp of death. In fact, killing off too many courtiers isn’t ideal—guests will continuously spawn to fill those gaps, even if you’ve disabled the character pool.

Big family without lagging (28932 Characters), without effects limited to players (it applied to AI's court).

@Wumeng 额,其实我之前也发现了,但是出现概率不高,而且我确认有写性别相反的trigger。既然反馈了,那估计确实是bug了。
我估计是因为现在效果都在on_action里面处理,scope串了,我下个版本把结婚代码封装到事件里面对每个角色单独触发就不会出现这种问题了。有其他意见吗?

@Patrick Vieira it just bring the world 300 years later ahead of time, that's why we need Population control. It also allows AI dynasties to enjoy the full dynasty prestige bonuses earlier, so the player's dynasty won't be the only overwhelming powerhouse.

This is the first version of the mod. So far, I’ve been focusing on testing for performance issues rather than gameplay. If you notice anything that feels off or unreasonable, please leave a comment.
