Intrigue (Mayfair Games Edition)

Description
A post as a scholar at the court of a nobleman is good for the reputation and extremely lucrative as well. And it's completely filled with intrigue. The players stop at nothing, using arrangements, bribery, threats and payofs as necessary to realize their goal and rake in the most money. The court isn't as noble as it seemed at first... Intrigue is a game where bribery, negotiation, and greedy self-interest aren't merely sideline interests but the very core of the game.

3 to 5 players, 30 minutes play time.

N.B.
The main differences between the F.X. Schmid and the Mayfair versions are that the the F.X. Schmid version uses five buildings per player, with values of 1, 2, 3, 5 and 10, but the Mayfair version uses four buildings per player, with values of 1, 3, 6 and 10. Accordingly, the F.X. Schmid version has five professions - knight, merchant, lawyer, writer, and clergy - but the Mayfair version retains only clergy and writer, and adds alchemist and doctor. In the F.X. Schmid edition all money denominations are 10x larger than those in the Mayfair edition.
