Victoria 3: 2000 Modern Start Project
**A modern-era overhaul mod for Victoria 3**

This project aims to bring Victoria 3 into the modern world by starting the game in the year **2000**, with realistic borders, demographics, and economic systems.

### ✅ Currently implemented:
- Modern **population estimates** for the **United States**
- Updated **borders** for the **United States**
- A new **"Investment Bureau"** building replacing the vanilla construction system

⚠️ Note:
- **All other countries remain unchanged**
- The **modernization of economic structure** (outside the Investment Bureau) is **not yet implemented**
- **Institutions, laws, technologies, and other systems** are still **vanilla**
- The mod is in **very early development** and **not playable** yet
