Slower Glitched Crown Reroll (FIX)

Description
This mod fixes several bugs from the original mod, such as the issue with Damocles generating infinite pedestals, repeating the same items in different rooms, pedestals not updating in shops after purchase, and improves compatibility with the Glitched Crown Respects Wait Time mod, ensuring that the wait time only applies when opening chests and does not affect normal item pickup from pedestals.

Este mod arregla varios errores del mod original, como el problema con Damocles que generaba pedestales infinitos, la repetición de los mismos ítems en diferentes habitaciones, la falta de actualización de los pedestales en tiendas después de comprar, y mejora la compatibilidad con el mod Glitched Crown Respects Wait Time, asegurando que el tiempo de espera solo se aplique al abrir cofres y no afecte la recogida normal de ítems en pedestales.

Hi, I don't know if you can post suggestions or questions in the comments, but I'd like to know if it's a bug or if the mod isn't implemented in T.bethany's glitched crown.:isaac:

HEADS UP! the og slower glitched reroll mod crashes the game as of now, so this mod is practically useless unless you decide to update it to fix the crash

Hello, there is a problem with this mod. In one game, I generated a consumable item and a Faulty Crown at the same time. I picked up the Faulty Crown and used D-1, but the other item did not trigger the effect of the Faulty Crown, while in the original game environment, it would have triggered the effect.

When using Slower Glitched Crown with TMTRAINER, the game always spawns the same glitched item instead of random ones. This happens because the mod creates a fixed list of item options (itemOptions) shared across pedestals, while TMTRAINER relies on randomness by generating invalid item IDs. The fixed list overrides that randomness, causing the same glitched item to appear every time

Well fair enough, the item isn't too useful coupled with TMTrainer. But I like TMTrainer and I will likely pick it up in a run when I find it. So even when not in the challenge, I will occasionally run into the bug. Currently I have the Slower Glitched Crown Reroll mod disabled because of it. Point blank. I would use the mod, but I won't if it breaks an item I like to play with.

Which is fine as far as I'm concerned. A bit of a pity to not use the mod, but not the end of the world. I can manage Glitched Crown without using the mod. Just thought you'd be interested to know of the bug and have absolutely no idea how hard it would be to fix.

But my curiousity forces me to ask what could possibly create a bug like this. How is the reroll timer for Glitched Crown linked to the TMTrainer mechanic?

Erm... yep... I want to clarify that it took me a while to respond because I didn't think Steam would notify you and I assumed you wouldn't read it. Well, I don't know if it did notify you, but whatever.:jimbo:

A www, fair enough. I suppose glitched crown wouldn't be much of use in the challenge considering the randomness of everything. Thanks for answering!

The only solution I can give you is to deactivate the mod when you go to play that challenge, I'm trying to fix it but I couldn't, anyway, why do you want to use the glitched Crown and the TMTrainer at the same time?

As coleen has stated the mod breaks TMTrainer. But not just in the Delete This challenge, it breaks the TMTrainer item full stop. The only glitched item you'll get is Hort Cutter. This bug persists with your fix installed. Would be nice if this got fixed.
