100% ACHIEVEMENT GUIDE | DOOM: The Dark Ages

This is a comprehensive guide detailing a way of getting for all achievements in the game. If you have never played this game or are just hunting for achievements, this guide will show you how to get them all.

Achievement Info

Stand up and fight! Rip and tear, cause they deserve it.

Legions of bloodthirsty demons are approaching, they sense fear and hungry for battle. Endless torments and tortures await those who stand in their way, but there is one whose fearlessness and fury strikes terror even into their black hearts. The most powerful and merciless demons tremble, and shivers down their spines when they hear his thunderous tread. No matter how countless the armies of hell are, they will not rule this world or any other as long as he breathes and walks among the living, for he is the Doom Slayer. Let the spawns of hell know on their own skin what real torment is, cause his greatest success is their blood on his hands and 100% of the achievements here on Steam.

Complete The Story

Doom: Dark Ages story campaign promises to be significantly longer than in previous games and will captivate avid demon slayers for many hours. Take on the role of Doom Slayer, instill fear and horror, exterminate the armies of hell with a huge arsenal of weapons and tools, bring death on the ground and in the air, with your own hands or by controlling a giant robot. Complete the final part in the new Doom trilogy and reveal all the secrets that were previously hidden behind demonic seals in order to get lots of achievements.

Be Better.

You will never be the same again. Most of the achievements depend on upgrading your weapons, equipment, tools and other means of exterminating demons. Not only will you become better and stronger with each upgrade, but the game itself will reward your efforts and initiative in this direction. Complete the challenges, become better with the death of each demon beast and achieve perfection.

The Seeker Finds

The world and locations around you are full of secrets and mysteries that are just waiting to be found. Look for demon toys and Codex Lore pages to get the final achievements. Luckily for you,
levels can be replayed and information about the number of collectibles on each level can be seen. In this guide, you will find information about their locations, so rest assured
that not only demons, but also collectibles will not escape your sight.

Doom game story? Seriously? Well, apparently so. The game has long gone beyond the "run and gun", so many descriptions of achievements and ways of how to get them, as well as screenshots in this guide may contain serious spoilers that can ruin your game walkthrough if you are sensitive to this information. Refrain from using the guide if you want to complete the game on your own, but be sure to come back when you need help with achievements or collectibles. If spoilers don't bother you, then welcome, I wish you a pleasant game, bloody hands and getting all the achievements here.

A Dark Beginning

Story related, finish Campaign Chapter 1: Village of Khalim. The chapter can be completed by activating the machine gun turret near the battle between the demon titan and the dragon. The first thing you will need to do is destroy all the waves of regular demons.

After that, destroy the titan, use RMB to launch a lightning discharge at it and deal crushing blows to it. Watch the cinematics and the achievement is yours.

Supersized Brawl

Story related, finish Campaign Chapter 3: Barrier Core.

Vagary Down!

Story related. The Vagary Champion is located in the end of Campaign Chapter 4: Sentinel Barracks. Kill him to unlock this achievement.

Bringing the House Down

Story related, finish Campaign Chapter 5: The Holy City of Aratum.

Agaddon Champion Down!

Story related. The Agaddon Champion is located in the end of Campaign Chapter 8: Abyssal Forest. Kill him to unlock this achievement.

Ancestral Blessing

Story related. Your first shield rune can be obtained during Chapter 9: Ancestral Forge.

Komodo Champion Down!

Story related. The Komodo Championn is located in the very start of Campaign Chapter 14: Spire of Nerathul. Kill him to unlock this achievement.

Gimme That

Story related. Ballistic Force Crossbow is the new weapon you obtain during Campaign Chater 14: Spire of Nerathul.

Jailbreak

Story related, finish Campaign Chapter 14: Spire of Nerathul.

Too Angry to Die

Story related, finish Campaign Chapter 19: Harbor of Souls.

Argent Return

Story related, finish Campaign Chapter 20: Resurrection.

The Only Thing They Fear

Story related, finish Campaign Chapter 21: Final Battle.

Game Complete

Complete the game by finishing the levels listed below on any difficulty whatever you like.
Game difficulty can be chosen when creating new campaign slot.

Upgraded

During the game, starting from Chapter 3, you will come across green Sentinel Shrines. You can buy upgrades for yourself in them. Do this the first time you use the Shrine to unlock the achievement.

Fully Loaded / Gunpletionist

Shield Adept

Shield upgrades can be purchased in green Sentinel Shrines which you will meet during your walkthrough, starting from chapter 3. To purchase these upgrades you have to get Rubies and Gold. They are scattered around the map and sometimes can be obtained as a reward for completing challenges.

Powerful Investment

Berserker

This achievement is glitched for now and most players can unlock it in fair way. The possible reason or the glitch is voiding the achievement progress when you unlock upgrades during the campagin chapters. The only way to unlock it for now is to unlock all possible ugrades in the end of the campaign at once or wait for a bugfix.

Essential Upgrade

Demonic Essence can be collected by killking specific demon bosses during your walkthrough. There are 4 types of Demonic Essence. Kill all bosses listed below to unlock this one.

Essential Ammo

Demonic Essence can be collected by killking specific demon bosses during your walkthrough. There are 4 types of Demonic Essence. Kill all bosses listed below to unlock this one.

Essential Armor

Essentially Health

Essentially Unstoppable

Kill all 26 Demon Bosses listed in previous Essential Upgrade, Essential Ammo, Essential Armor and Essential Health achievement sections.

Challenge Completed

Combat Challenges may be familiar to players of previous Doom games. In these challenges, you will need to complete a specific task. There are 48 such challenges in the game, complete them all to get the achievement.

Toy Collector / Lore Nerd

There are many collectibles in the game, but achievements can only be obtained by collecting two types: demon toys and codex lore pages. There are 24 Demons Toys and 26 Codex Pages across 22 Chapters to collect.

Demon toys look like blue orbs with a question mark inside and are rmarked on the level map by a demon toy figure.

Codex lore pages look like glowing orange book pages with eye ball icon and a similar icon on the map. Further, I will only show these collectibles chapter by chapter, since obtaining the rest is not required to get all the achievements.

Demon Toy 1 - Imp:

Go to the place in the church where you pick up the blue key from the corpse, and then knock out the barrier with your shield to get out of it. You will find yourself in the square where you fought with a crowd of demons, open the map and return to the path you walked before entering the church. Behind the door that opens with the blue key, your first toy will be waiting.

Demon Toy 2: Soldier

Immediately after you pick up the machine gun from the drop pad, go behind it and you will see a small cliff at the end of which a cave with another demonic toy will be waiting.

Codex Page 1: Doom Slayer

Close the gates of demons located at the foot of the cliff (in theory, these should be the last of the 4 gates), to the right of the cliff there will be a climb up to it, on its top you can pick up the first page of the Codex.

Codex Page 2: Village of Khalim

The last page is located almost at the very end of the Chapter. Reach the place where the demon titan fights the dragon. Go through the arena, destroy all the enemies and follow further, but turn right to collect the page.

Awesome guide. I like that there is no unnecessary long-winded blathering :) . Just the essentials and it's very comfy with the chapters so you can quickly check up on the things you might have missed. It is also a great help how you bring up the map to show where exactly you are in a level and how to get to some of the secrets.
I just got 100% and your guide helped a lot when revisiting chapters to pick up the missing pieces. I usually prefer written guides because many YT videos are annoying with too much talking but this is perfect!

Berserk is not working

The problem is the "Berserk" achievement is marked as completed in the in-game milestones but did not unlock on Steam.

Before proceeding with the steps, make sure to disable Steam Cloud for the game to prevent automatic sync

Solution Steps:

1. Navigate to the folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<your_steam_id>\3017860\remote
(Replace <your_steam_id> with your actual Steam ID.)

2. Backup all files in this folder (copy them to a safe location).

3. Delete everything inside the remote folder.

4. Launch the game.

5. Go to Main Menu → Extras → Milestones and verify that all progress is reset (locked).

6. Exit the game.

7. Restore the GAME-AUTOSAVE<number> folder from your backup into the remote folder. Save file where you have enough currency to fully upgrade

8. Launch the game again and load the save file where you have enough currency to fully upgrade:
Shield upgrades
Shield runes
Melee weapons

i dont know if this helps anyone but i unlocked berserker on my first playthrough, diff on nightmare, i never restarted to checkpoint never went back into any mission just played straight throught the story and it unlocked in chapter 19

Following on from my comment yesterday evening...I have since completed a new campaign, and I saved all coins and rubies up to use at the last Sentinel Shrine on lvl 22. Still didn't unlock! Even though it says Berserker milestone is completed in-game.

Can confirm, completed the game and the Berserker achievement is bugged. Filthy! Guess I'll just have to do another play-through and purchase everything at the end all at once.

Berserk achievement is bugged for now, as far as I know this happens when you purchase upgrades in different chapters.

Waiting for fix or you have to collect all gold and rubies and purchase them in the endgame all at once, this may trigger the achievement correctly

ty this really helps a lot especially the collection part. but Idk why my achievement "berserker" cannot be completed even all the 3 stuffs fully upgraded already and relaunching the game and steam neither works.
