A New Creed Rises

Live the intertwined stories of Naoe, an adept shinobi Assassin from Iga Province, and Yasuke, the powerful African samurai of historical legend. Against the backdrop of the turbulent late Sengoku period, this remarkable duo will discover their common destiny as they usher in a new era for Japan.

You decide whether to play as a shinobi or samurai. Master complementary playstyles of two fully realized protagonists, approach quests with whichever character you prefer, as each possesses their own respective progression, stats, skills, and gear to unlock game achievements.

WARNING: Some achievements may not unlock correctly. This can happen because of the progress being tracked on the online servers which can cause some delays with achievement unlocks. Please reboot the game and all achievements should unlock as long as you reach animus hub. 

⛩️ Adept Samurai

This should be your first achievement you unloсk during the Prologue. Attack the enemies once you have gained control of Yasuke. After defeating the last enemy you will perform a finisher that triggers the achievement.

⛩️ Adept Shinobi

Another Prologue achievement you will unlock by killing the very first enemy as Naoe with your hidden blade. Press F while sneaking next to the enemy to kill him and unlock the achievement.

⛩️ Prologue

Story related, unmissable. Unlocks after retrieving the box as Naoe.

⛩️ Sole Sanctum

Story related, unmissable. You get access to your hideout as Naoe leaves the mountains. Build your first building and watch next cinematic to unlock this one.

⛩️ Scouting Mission

Can be unlocked only if Guided Exploration Mode is turned off

You can turn it off immediately at the start of the game, but it can also be done at any time during the game.

The achievement itself can be story related too if you turned off Guided Exploration Mode already.
Once you got your Hideout and all 12 Shinbakufu were introduced, you have to mark one as your first target and start gathering info about him. This can be done with your scouts.

Press F to pick a scout and then follow the hints on what area of ​​the map you should send a scout to find your target. I chose the Wounded as my first target so I had hints on his location that he was on south of Sakai, but at west of Izumi Coast. Send a scout and find the target to unlock the achievement.

⛩️The Warrior Monk

Story related, unmissable. Unlocks after finishing Main Quest "The Fatherless Monk" in Act 1.

⛩️ A New League Rises

Story related, unmissable. Unlocks after finishing Main Quest "Mibuno Showdown", otherwise after killing 3 of 12 Shinbakufu. Also finishing Act I unlocks Yasuke as playable character.

⛩️The Sharpshooter

Story related, unmissable.
Unlocks after finishing Main Quest "Against the Koga-ryu" during Act 2.

⛩️The Thief

Story related, unmissable. Unlocks after finishing Main Quest "Missing Missive" during Act 2.

⛩️ An Oath Fulfilled

Story related, unmissable. Unlocks after finishing the last Act 2 Main Quest called "The Man Behind the Mask".

⛩️The Toxin Master

Unlocked after finishing side quest “Sweet Lies”. Side quest becomes available during Act 3.

⛩️The Eager Assassin

Unlocked after finishing side quest “A Blade in the Dark”. Side quest becomes available during Act 3.

⛩️The Ronin

Unlocked after finishing side quest “Ambush Interrupted”. Side quest becomes available during Act 3.

⛩️Fall of the Shinbakufu

Story related, unmissable. Unlocks after finishing the last Act 3 Main Quest called "Leaving a Mark". Complete all possible quests here as Naoe, Junjiro and Yasuke to unlock Epilogue Quest.

⛩️Death Blossom

This one story related too, cause Shinbakufu are main targets to kill.
There are 12 Shinbakufu, all of them going to be killed by you during the game.

⛩️Epilogue

Story related, unmissable. Unlocks after finishing the only Epilogue Main Quest "Out of the Shadows" which one becomes available after all 12 Shinbakufu defeated and finishing all quests as Naoe, Yasuke and Junjiro.

⛩️Unseen

Can be easly done during Prologue. As lon as you reach the castle to get the box back, it is enough single standing enemies to assasinate. Get the high point and hold RMB to find and track enemies around you.

It is important that you shouldn't be noticed after making a kill. Also keep in mind that Kunai kills are allowed for this achievement too. Don't forget to use your Eagle view to see enemies around your location and find a good spot and timing to make a stealth kill.

⛩️ Art of Ninjutsu

Unlock all 21 skills in Shinobi skill tree. To get this achievement, it is enough to unlock at least the first level of each skill, it is not necessary to fully upgrade each of them.

⛩️ Art of Kenjutsu

Unlock all possible skills in Samurai skill tree. As well as the achievement above, it is enough to unlock at least one level of each skill, it is not necessary to fully upgrade each of them.

⛩️ Make it Personal

This one requires Forge building construction. Then you have to upgrade this to Level 2 to unlock engraving.

Choose any weapon from the list and engrave it to unlock this achievement.

⛩️Better than a Bucket

Both Yasuke and Naoe have 6 active equipment slots in their inventory: two slots for weapons, headgear, armor, trinket, and horse.

This achievement requires that 5 slots (excluding the horse) be equipped with legendary items at the same time. Legendary gold-colored items can be obtained as a reward for story quests, as well as from chests with valuable loot.

For example, you can destroy samurai in large castles to unlock chests with legendary items.

⛩️Limitless

This achievement is similar to the one above, but here you need to equip each gear type for both Naoe and Yasuke at least once, the equipment then can be removed. All you need to do is find a legendary item of different types, equip and remove it.

⛩️ In Case of Trouble

Unlock all possible skills in Naoe’s Tools skill tree and all skills in Yasuke’s Teppo and Bow skill trees to unlock this achievement.

⛩️ Suture Self

This can be unlocked only playing as Naoe. First you have to unlock Igan Roll skill.

Now jump from any height and press Left Alt to make a roll and unlock the achievement.

⛩️Reeding is Fundamental

This can only be earned playing as Naoe. First unlock Shallow Water Breathing skill As Naoe.

⛩️Just Your Shadow

This can only be earned playing as Naoe. First unlock Shinobi Bell skill As Naoe.

Now find yourself a proper target, preferably one that stands alone. Press RMB to go to the tools menu and select the Shinobi bell, you have three of them in your inventory by default, which is enough to unlock the achievement.

You need to throw the bell one after another, as soon as the enemy is distracted by the first bell, throw the second and then, in exactly the same way, the third.

⛩️Hook, Line, and Swinger

⛩️ Acrobatics

This one can be unlocked only by playing as Naoe.

⛩️Leap of Fail

This one can be unlocked only by playing as Yasuke. Fast travel at any viewpoint as Yasuke and jump down into a haystack to perform a leap of faith to unlock the achievement.

⛩️Master Shinobi

This can be unlocked only playing as Naoe. First you have to unlock Shoji Door Assassin skill.

Now find any enemy standing directly behind a shoji door and stab the enemy through it to unlock the achievement.

⛩️ Giant Slayer

⛩️ Master Samurai

This can be unlocked by playing as Yasuke and does not require any additional skills. You just need to get the attention of an ranged enemy, preferably an archer, as his arrow flies slowly enough for you to react quickly.

Take a comfortable position and wait for the enemy to shoot at you, right before the projectile hits you, press Q (block) to reflect the projectile and unlock the achievement.

⛩️ Unstoppable

⛩️ This is Japan, Actually

This one can be unlocked only by playing as Yasuke. First you have to unlock War Kick skill.

⛩️Overdesign III

⛩️Final Hearing

⛩️Adventurer

Oh wow, is this Skyrim reference? This one can be unlock only by playing as Yasuke.
Simply make a shot with you bow right into knee of any enemy to unlock this one.

⛩️ Good Form

This can be unlocked by playing as Yasuke, because Kata is only available on the map when you play as him. In total, there are a lot of them on the map, you need to complete any one to achieve this.

Kata is a series of quick time events that need to be pressed in time, observing the timing for successful completion.

⛩️ Zen Master

⛩️A Rare Occurrence

⛩️ Collector

This achievement is a reward for finishing Tea Bowls for Rikyu Side Quest. To unlock it you have to assasinate The Golden Teppo Shinbakufu first.

This quest requires from you to collect seven Tea Bowls all over the regions. Six of them can be bought from different traders for 125 Mon, so be sure you have enough money for that.

The last 7th tea bowl is related with assasinating The Wise Shinbakufu which is unmissable during the story.

The highest point is the viewpoint on Mount Hakkyo which can be found in the south-east portion of Yamato.

Kofuns are special locations that can be found on the map. They are strips of obstacles that you need to overcome. At the end of each kofun, you will find a chest with loot as a reward.

⛩️ Make Your Look!

This one refers to classic gamin easter eggs location behing waterfall. Find waterfall in your Hideout and enter the cave behind it. Just doing this is enough for achievement to unlock.

⛩️ Everybody Benefits!

You can find a huge number of different animals in the game world: cats, dogs, etc.
Be sure to go to them and press the E key to unlock this type of animal.

Then turn back to your Hideout and enter Build Mode. Now you have to place your pet as you place buildings there to unlock this achievement.

Final Hearing can be complete with Naoe as well. It also doesn't seem to really care if bleed finishes the enemy off as long as they are bleeding when they die.

⛩️Overdesign III

TIp : use Yasuke and his bow -> engrave the bow with the following : "special ammo instantly triggers its affiction on a Headshot" - Put points into bowtree and grab poison arrows -> Fully upgrade staggering blast within the bowtree -> look for a bigger type of enemy (samurai/guardian etc) -> shoot 1 headshot with your bow (make sure you have poison arrows selected) follow up with staggering blast right after -> run closer to the enemy switch to your katana and finish it off.

i have seen other examples in youtube videos using naoe. i couldn't do it and found it much easier. keep in mind that you can only get this achievement towards the end of the game because some skill points are locked behind sidequests.

im sorry XEALEEN but this guide feels very mediocre, there is no real clear information about the more difficult goals. yes i understand that the game is recently released. but i have 52/54 and the only tip i could use from your guide is the waterfall..

so i am having a issue with the limitless achievement. I completed the full game and got alot of achievements but this one i am missing for some reason.

and for the rations achievement. you need the tea room and zashiki rooms in the hideout built too.

collection is any collectables. the 9 crests/flags, the 7 tea bowls etc. The master samurai achievement could only be done by Yasuke for me. Meeting ibuki side quest was unlocked for me during act 2.

As far as I know for now it is related with collecting seven tea bowls. Most of then can be bought at traders in different regions.
