Brushes with Death: All Shield Symbols (and how to get them)

A simple guide on acquiring shield symbols as part of the game expansion "Brushes with Death".

Each section has a bracket indicating the shield types that can be applied for that symbol.

H - Heater Shield
K - Knight Shield
R - Round Shield
P - Pavese

e.g.

[H/K/P] Horse

'Horse' symbol can be applied to a Heater Shield, Knight Shield, and Pavese.

I've already did the achievement, but I didn't get the symbol. Why don't I have it?

Symbols are save-exclusive and tied to the playline where the achievement was accomplished. You'll have to perform the process of getting the achievement again if you want to acquire that symbol to appear on a specific playline you're currently playing.

Remarks

Note that all quests here are done specifically as said below that made me acquire the symbols, for example:
- in Warding off Evil, you have an option to forge a regular axe and persuade Johann Parler to complete the quest OR give a thunderstone, but I chose to steal those lucky charms and forged the Protective Axe.
- in Ars Dimicatoria, I chose Menhard's side and won the duel. No clue if this would work as well if you sided with the Kuttenbergers.
- in Spoils of War, I did few objectives like checking the ration that the villagers provided, but didn't take anything, and killed Puta and other cumans.

So I don't have any idea if you will still get the symbol if you did a different approach. If you do, let me know in the comments 🙂
