Moss Overgrown Hospital

A hospital so overgrown with moss that it evolved and created something remarkable this hospital was ground zero for the city and as a result its one of the most overgrown places in the world. Because of how overgrown it is its considered to be a horde nest meaning an entire horde lives here. Horde nests are places that are overgrown to sh!t and has a horde nesting in it these places are mostly underground but some hospitals become horde nests. unlike other infested structures the moss does not grow hungry vines here since its a horde nest after all.

The Horde Brain:
The moss has evolved to grow whats called a Horde Brain these things are specialized moss cells that acts as a brain. They resemble a heart but functions like a brain, but its not as advanced as a human brain its more of a primitive brain only able to give basic instructions to their hordes like Attack, Retreat, Feed and other basic commands but give it enough time it will evolve into something more intelligent and more dangerous. As its name suggests they act as the brains of a horde each Horde brain has control over a horde and has control over its horde nest two horde brains in one horde nest cannot exists because it requires too much nutrients.

Strengths:
-Can control an entire horde

Weakness:
-Fragile but is hard to take down recommended weapons are explosives like grenades

Hospital Notes:

To Sarah. I don’t think I will come home anytime soon this infection is not slowing down and is getting worse. The doctors put some ointment on my bite mark it relieves the pain but I can feel this thing spreading through my body. I want you to know that I love you and stay safe. Lock the doors.

To Carlos. Brother, I need you to leave the city. This infection is spreading very quickly, our hospital is overflowing with patients, and more are coming by the hour. You know that spot where we used to hide from dad? Meet me there and stay safe, I will be seeing you soon.

To Mom. Mother, I won’t be coming home anytime soon it’s chaotic here. They say it’s a virus, but I think it’s something else. Mother, I need you to pack your things and head to grandma’s house away from the city and wait for me there. I love you mom stay safe and wear a mask.

To Lucy. Girl, I have heard a rumor that the military is coming to our hospital. I’m passing you this note because they won’t let me leave my post, they’re isolating us. What about you? Have you heard any rumors?

To Jessica. Girl, I have heard a rumor that they might bomb this city. We need to get the hell out of here. Also, they say that the government is trying to create quarantine zones out in LA we should go there meet me at the cafeteria we will sneak out together I’m sick of this place.

We did surgery on this girl and good lord her organs were covered in moss ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MOSS!!!. How? How can a harmless plant do this? It sprayed spores all over us ♥♥♥♥ I think I’m infected. I don’t want to die all our patients who are infected end up dying. ♥♥♥♥ what do I do?

The situation is getting worse. We had to put the entire 5th floor into lockdown because the patients began to bite and attack the nurses we placed some of the patients to the ground floor but its getting packed in here. Many staff members are planning to sneak out me included I have to get out of here.

I collected cells from an infected patient and what I saw was remarkable. The patient had cancer cells, and the moss seems to be eating those cells as well as hijacking healthy cells was it true? Is this the moss species they discovered 10 years ago? Maybe but I must get out of here fast.
