Doubts about catching the "guardian of sea" in December and January

Is it possible to fish the Guardian of sea during the snow? Yes

Important note: Genji Beetle Bait only appears after you have fished the Inaba Guardian, it is possible to catch it in the snow

Important observation: After picking up the Inaba Guardian, and having the beach unlocked, go to the beach and select the "fish" option, and the message will then appear saying that you don't have the fishing rod for the beach.
After the message, go to the river and talk to the old man so he can talk about it and give you the fishing rod for the beach.

I just want to make it clear that it is possible to catch both fish in December and January. I did a lot of research and never had the exact answer as to whether it was possible or not, I was at the end of January and based on my successes and mistakes I made this small clarification.
