You know you don''t have to uninstall it if you want to play multiplayer, right? REPENTOGON auto-disables itself when switching to Repentance+, and the big error message that pops up can be removed by just disabling the workshop entry (which its purpose is to just let you know if it's installed right or not).
Also, this is going to be a hard pill to swallow, but have you maybe asked yourself why a lot of mods are requiring REPENTOGON suddenly? It will make sense if you put a few seconds into thinking about it :P.
