Whenever somebody talks of the first Avengers movie, do they remember any of the fights ? No, because it is non-stop, mind-numbing action, you zone out, and the overall experience is forgettable.
On the contrary, when somebody talks of John Wick 1, they remember the nightclub, the sauna, John's house, the docks. Why ? Because the action breathes. It does not overstays its welcome, and spread action carefully with some quiet in-between scenes.
For a campaign, it's the same. Yama is loved by players, because sometimes you are given the chance to take in the scenery. Walk a rainy road, take a cablecar, visit a temple. It's a question of rythm, and rythm comes through enemy placement.
