Best Way to Make Money As a New/Solo Player

​Here's a comprehensive guide to efficiently amassing wealth in GTA Online, tailored for solo players and beginners. This step-by-step roadmap focuses on high-yield activities and passive income streams to maximize your earnings as a solo Player or a beginner.

Step 1: Alternate with Cluckin’ Bell Farm Raid

Goal: Earn $500K per run (~1 hour)​

Start the Cluckin’ Bell Farm Raid by visiting Vincent at the Little Seoul Police Station.

Complete the six-mission sequence, culminating in the "Scene of the Crime" finale.

Play on Easy Difficulty to speed up completion time without affecting payouts. ​

This raid serves as an excellent secondary income source while waiting for the Cayo Perico Heist cooldown.

Step 2: Start with the Kosatka & Cayo Perico Heist

Goal: Earn $1M+ per hour solo​
Save up to $2.2 million from the Clucking Bell Heist to purchase the Kosatka submarine from Warstock Cache & Carry.

Buy the Sparrow upgrade for the Kosatka to make prep missions faster and easier.

Run the Cayo Perico Heist solo, focusing on high-value targets like the Panther Statue or Pink Diamond. ​

This heist is still the most profitable solo activities in GTA Online, offering substantial payouts with manageable prep work.

Alternate between Cayo Perico and Clucking Bell while you wait for the cool downs to finish.

Step 3: Set Up the Acid Lab

Goal: Generate passive income with minimal effort​ (You will need about a $1M to set this up)

Complete the "First Dose" missions to unlock the Brickade 6x6.

Purchase the Acid Lab equipment for $750,000 at the Freakshop.

Complete 10 Fooligan Jobs by calling Dax to unlock the Equipment Upgrade.

Buy the Equipment Upgrade for $250,000 to enhance production efficiency.

Buy supplies from Mutt via phone for $60,000 per batch; avoid resupply missions. Strictly to save time.

Boost production daily by interacting with the chemical table inside the lab. ​

With the upgrade, a full batch yields a net profit of $239,200 in about 3 hours.​

Step 4: Diversify with Additional Ventures/Nightclub Prep

Goal: Expand income sources and unlock new gameplay opportunities​

Hangar & Oscar Guzman Flies Again
Purchase a Hangar, preferably at Fort Zancudo for military base access.

Complete the "Oscar Guzman Flies Again" mission for a $500,000 payout. ​

Motorcycle Club Businesses
Buy MC businesses (Cocaine, Meth, Counterfeit Cash) and set them up.

Assign these businesses to your Nightclub for passive goods accumulation.

Sell products to street dealers when supplies run low; avoid active sell missions.

Step 5: Invest in Passive Businesses

Goal: Establish steady, low-maintenance income streams​

Nightclub
Purchase a Nightclub and assign technicians to the following businesses:

Maintain nightclub popularity by rotating DJs and completing promotion missions.

Collect passive income from the safe, which can hold up to $250,000. ​

A fully upgraded nightclub can generate approximately $50,000 every in-game day (48 minutes real-time) when popularity is at 100%.​

Bunker
Purchase a Bunker and focus solely on manufacturing (disable research).

Buy supplies for $75,000 to keep production running.

Sell stock when full for up to $1 million. ​

The Bunker operates passively, allowing you to focus on other activities (like Cayo or Clucking Bell) while it generates income.

If you have cash spare I would recommend that you buy the staff and equipment upgrade for the Bunker which will allow you to earn more for the product and less of the supplies will deplete at a shorter rate.

Step 6: Enhance Mobility and Efficiency

Goal: Improve mission turnaround times and overall gameplay experience​

If you haven't had the urge to buy it by this point or perhaps you have it already you can purchase the Terrorbyte and unlock Client Jobs for additional income.

Furthermore, buy the Oppressor Mk II and upgrade it in the Terrorbyte for enhanced speed and weaponry.

Use the Oppressor Mk II for quick travel and efficient mission completion.​

The Oppressor Mk II significantly reduces travel time, making it easier to manage multiple businesses and missions.

Step 7: Explore Additional Income Opportunities

Goal: Maximize earnings through varied activities​
At this point you are making pretty good money by the hour and you can put your money in other places which can still generate you revenue and make the gameplay more varied.

Agency VIP Contracts: Complete missions for Franklin to earn substantial payouts.

Auto Shop Contracts: Engage in mini-heists for quick cash.

Special Cargo: Run warehouse missions for additional income.​
