How to unlock 3rd Item Showcase Steam Profile

Steam Profiles are limited to just 2 Item Display Showcases - This is how you can unlock a third through the Steam Points Shop.
This trick is useful for collectors and Traders in CS2 and Dota 2. This trick works to unlock a 3rd of every showcase type.

Unlocking a Third Steam Profile Showcase Customisation of the Same Type

This bug is explained in the above video, text instructions are below. But to utilize this bug you must already own two of the showcase you're trying to unlock a third. You must equip an item showcase from reaching Steam level 10 and also purchase the second item showcase from the point shop and equip that also before doing this trick.

Step 1 - Log into steam on a web browser and open point shop in a tab

Step 2 - Open Developer Console on your web browser, likely F12, click console and enter this string to get your access token (do not share this with anyone)
- JSON.parse(application_config.dataset.store_user_config).webapi_token

Step 3 - Right click and copy string to copy the entire text output.

Step 4 - Visit the Steam API Tool by xPaw

Step 5 - Input your access token in the top right "Access Token" field box at the top of the page.

Step 6 - Go to Redeem Points for Profile Customization Field or click this link.

Step 7 - Enter the value into "customization_type" for the profile showcase you want to unlock a 3RD of - (item showcase = 3)

Step 8 - Click execute. If successful you will have a new tab opened with a purchase ID displayed, if you have made a mistake you will see a purchase ID with no values.

Final Note

Valve has never issued any kind of bans for anything similar to this in the past. This bug has been reported and is known by Valve. You are spending their currency and not exploiting something they have ever issued bans for in the past. This bug has been known as working since before September 2023.
