Fix Slowdown/Freezing on Steam Deck after the March 2025 Update

This is a quick/easy fix that will prevent slowdown and freezing on the steam deck.

Step 1

1. Click on the Manage wheel for Control Ultimate Edition.

Step 2

2. Click on Properties.

Step 3

3. Under Launch Options, type "-dx11" (without the quotation marks)

Conclusion

That's it. Your game should hopefully no longer slowdown/freeze anymore on the Steam Deck.

I only had this problem when I went back to executive to do Bureau Alerts but this did fix it!
