== MISTBORN MOD ==

This mod brings the Allomantic magic system from Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn series to Terraria!

FEATURES:
- Nine Allomantic metals to burn, each with unique powers
- Craft and drink metal vials to store reserves
- Metal burning mechanics with gradually depleting reserves
- Hold key mechanics for Steel and Iron to push and pull on metals
- FLARE your metals for double power (but double consumption)
- Metal Detection feature to find metals without burning reserves
- Misting system - start with a random metal ability
- Improved draggable UI with invisible backgrounds for a cleaner look
- Option to hide button hints for even cleaner UI
- Distinctive zinc stalagmites rising from the surface in grass biomes
- Complete Mistborn experience with visual and sound effects

METALS & ABILITIES:
- Iron - Pull metals toward you or pull yourself toward metal anchors
- Steel - Push metals away or launch yourself by pushing against metal anchors
- Tin - Enhanced senses, night vision, and danger detection
- Pewter - Enhanced strength, defense, and physical abilities
- Zinc - Riot emotions of enemies, making them more vulnerable
- Brass - Soothe emotions of enemies, making them less aggressive
- Copper - Create a coppercloud that hides your Allomancy
- Bronze - Detect other Allomancers using metals
- Atium - Become temporarily invulnerable (extremely rare)

CONTROLS:
- Each metal has its own dedicated hotkey (customizable in Controls)
- Steel and Iron use "hold key" mechanics for dynamic movement
- Press [Left Alt] to FLARE actively burning metals
- Press [X] to DETECT metals without consuming reserves
- Press [M] to toggle the Metal Reserves UI display

ENHANCED UI SYSTEM:
- Fully draggable metal reserves display with invisible backgrounds
- Right-click bars to unlink individual metals
- Detailed metal reserves information with burn status
- Option to hide button hints in mod configuration
- Clean, minimalist appearance that doesn't obstruct gameplay

ZINC ORE:
- Find distinctive zinc stalagmites extending up to 25 blocks high from the surface
- Stalagmites now spawn less frequently and only in grass/forest biomes
- Highly visible ore formations that are easy to spot while exploring
- Unique generation makes finding zinc more rewarding
- Compatible with WorldGenPreviewer mod - watch the stalagmites form in real-time!
- Custom generation system ensures stalagmites aren't overwritten by terrain

BUGS:
- Moving the bars around and unlinking them does not save the position. Change something in the modconfig and then save config for the positions/linked status to change

also i wonder if its possible to make bullets like spawn a steel push-able entity or something where they land so you can use bullets to jump.

I’m currently in a playthrough with the Jojo mod installed, it’s very nice to be a pewter misting when using a close range stand

I feel for balance it would be a good idea to make a spike take an accessory slot as you wanna make it have to be a choice. I like the idea of intelligent decisions such as “Do I wanna be able to use pewter or do I wanna have a dash?”

I kinda like the idea of not stacking it with a custom slot. If you want to get 5 accessory slots filled with spikes then you're powered up already, I'll add that

I’ve seen a lot of mods that add specialized accessory slots so I bet you could make a feruchemical band slot so it doesn’t take up a real accessory slot

What if there was spikes you could make that take up an accessory slot and after a certain number of kills you get the allomantic power associated with the metal it’s made from only if you had it in an accessory slot? Perhaps adding like a requirement for bones or shadow scales to make it progression locked.

I’ve found only one bug, and it may be another mod, but when I spawn into a world with a new character that isn’t the first character I used for that world, they spawn in at the top left corner of the map. It only happens when I first spawn in with that character. If I spawn in again it spawns me at world spawn.
