DOWNLOADING AND INSTALLING THE MOD

• Download launcher: https://www.xrmpe.online/
• Install it in any folder (except Program Files) IMPORTANT! The launcher may ask you to install missing component, do it.
• Start the launcher and download the game

Defence Mode
• Open Home tab in the launcher and press Play.
• In-game, press Play.
• Enter your nickname.
• Select a server in server browser and connect.

Cooperative Mode
• Open Addons tab in the launcher.
• Select a desired addon and toggle it on.
• Open Home tab in the launcher and press Play.
• In-game, press Play.
• Enter your nickname.
• Select a server in server browser and connect.

If you don't see any xrMPE servers in server browser, you can use virtual LAN software such as Radmin VPN:
• Download and install the program
• Click on Network tab > Create Network
• Type your desired network name and password, then click Create
• Invite other players to your network, giving them your network name and password
• After joining the network, users will have to copy the IP of the player they wish to join
• Paste the IP in-game using Direct IP button in server browser (or by typing connect <host_ip> in console, which opens by pressing ~)

STEAM LAUNCH

Install "S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat" from Steam.

Go to the local files: SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Stalker Call of Pripyat\bin.

The most important thing is to keep the bin folder; everything else can be deleted.

Download "EXE launches EXE":

Rename it to "xrEngine" and move it to the bin folder.

Launch it and look for the "X-Ray Multiplayer Extension" folder, then find the "xrmpe-launcher" file inside.


Now launch the game from Steam. If everything was done correctly, X-Ray Multiplayer Extension will start.
