Short Spoiler-Free for New Player if you plan on getting 100%Achievement

Just a short summary of my research of how to approach the game and get all achievement without replaying the game over and over

Since i never played the game before, i want to play it leisurely but i don't want to waste time replaying the game over and over (most likely i will not get 100% achievement if i do that)
So after doing a quick research, here's what i found:

To platinum "The Last of Us Part II," expect to spend around 30-40 hours.
You will need 2 playthrough
Some achievement are related to maximizing stats, which cannot be gained in the first playthrough.
Do the first playthrough in normal or lower difficulty, set Permadeath on (and set per chapter, so you will only lose a bit of progression if you screw up)
Beat the game and you will get most of the achievements

Do a second playthrough on grounded difficulty, no permadeath (in the grounded difficulty, where enemy does more damage, are faster and detects you more easily) -- sounds like a pain if we need to do permadeath on this mode
tips i read:
do grounded as chapter select reverse order
-- the advantage was not from having your endgame gear since the one you have access to is the one from your previous playthrough when you reached the chapter. The advantage mentioned is that you don't have to worry about saving supplies or ammo for future chapters so you can use them as you find them.

You can do chapter select after beating the game, so things are a lot easier!

tips:
your collectibles and stats carry over in NG+,
To have all of the collectibles in your backpack you'll need to pick them up again.
But for achievement your previous picked up ones do carry over, you just don't see them in your inventory.
Activate the collectible tracking in the options > hud. There will be a check mark on the collectibles you picked up.

And then there No Return mode, roguelike mode.
In this mode, you will play through multi-stage combat challenges, each made up of 5 randomized encounters followed by a boss battle involving one of 6 bosses. Each full run takes 30 - 40 minutes on average
Time for completion: around 10 hours, 13 achievements are locked in this mode

just want to share what i found.
There are already better, more complete guide in steam (and in various websites) already, but looking at it, i am confused, since they are structured for player who are already familiar with the game (plus lots of fancy pictures)
