Resurrection Revamp Halo 2 ODST Outskirts

Description
This is a continuation of my Resurrection Revamp mods. This is a new project I am calling Halo 2 ODST. It follows the events of Halo 2 from the perspective of an ODST (so far) with a large amount of my own gameplay changes and twists. It adds all new weapons, encounters, characters, vehicles, animations, mechanics, balancing, and more. I wanted to bring back the original feel and nostalgia of Halo 2 but add my own completely new coat of paint to the game as well.

I also decided to add a brand new firefight to go along with this campaign mission. I highly recommend enabling boons and trying out lots of different enemy wave types. Every wave has new enemy variants as well as brand new factions for waves such as the heretics and enemy humans which can be found labeled as the heretic and heretic heavy waves.

Note: If I continue the campaign I may end up releasing it as an inexpensive Patreon purchase as it is a very large amount of work to fully port over missions from Halo 2 to ODST.

It would be amazing if you could provide modder resources (skins, weapons, etc.) so we can use them too. I would love the halo 2 anniversary marines and odst skin for my halo 3 campaign like you did.

So after playing this...Loved every second of it! Enemy variety is back and more fun for new encounters. I give it 8/10 it only gets 2 points deducted for there not being more nah seriously its great So much nostalgia with halo 2 definitely would be awesome if missions with chief included this game play

@XStorm@crownX Not entirely sure yet. It's just me working on this and it is a ton of work and time to completely remake the levels and do new stuff with them. For now I am just working on different missions I want to see and jumping around. If I do the entire campaign I may end up releasing it as a one time inexpensive patreon purchase or something but it's all undecided right now. I'm glad you're excited to play, let me know if you enjoy it!

I cant wait to play last time I played it was half finished but I cannot wait to play the level. Forgive me for asking a stupid question will this be a ongoing project doing all halo 2 missions?

Love the campaign level so far; just got past the courtyard and finished the sniper alley bit. Really fun stuff!

Thus far I really have no big complaints, just some thoughts; per instance, Chief feels a little short and the other species still feel like we're par height. I can understand if that was how the height is from the ported over player biped from ODST, but would it be possible to tweak it a bit more? I wanna look like a midget next to an elite and dwarfed by all the Covenant - just my take though.

Love the equipment system! Feels super intuitive and just right with the ODST motif. Can't wait to see more :)

I loved this! My first play through on legendary had some things catch me off guard, but man was it fun! love the added flavor you have given one of my all time favorite levels of the game! cant wait for more!

@AlwaysAngron Thank you very much and that means a lot I'm glad you enjoyed the mod so much and got the feel that I was aiming for. Halo 2 is my personal favorite Halo so I wanted to keep the original feel and enhance on it in my own ways. I am not sure if I will do the whole campaign just because it is a ton of work but for right now I'm just going to keep playing around with it and jumping around to different missions I want to see.
