Sudan Civil War (2023-NOW)

Description
The Sudanese civil war, which began in April 2023, is an armed conflict between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). The conflict arose from disagreements over the integration of the RSF into the SAF as part of the transition to civilian rule. The fighting is mainly concentrated in Khartoum, Darfur and Kordofan. The war has led to a serious humanitarian crisis, mass displacement and the deaths of thousands of people. Despite numerous ceasefire attempts, the conflict continues.
