Introduction
So this will be a not-so-precise guide that is more of a help than anything. Couldn't find anything online (apart from this database: https://restoremonarchy.com/players/browser/rio-de-janeiro), so I had to do it myself, and my last guide seems to have been appreciated, so I'm doing a new one.

We will be covering Permanent Tourist and Chaos Theorem, which are both about finishing the storyline.

If I were you, I would take a very good look at all the needed items from the quests. No worries about getting spoiled—I will hide all the significant lore content.

All the quests are roughly in order, some might be switched up...
General tips
Try to get the katana from the temporay npc at the front of the Safezone as soon as possible, always stop at fireplace stations for filters and keep an eye on those items who made me lose a lot of time:

  • Jackhammer
  • Heavy Caliber Ammo Crate
  • Artillery Shell
  • Mortar Shell

I made a video to exploit a mecanic to get the stuff above, wich I found myself and used because I got terribly annoyed with those items:

https://youtu.be/VnnNqdk1s2A

Remember that this technique can be used after finding all pass and after killing the Horder boss, you will also need a hazma suit (wich is required for underground level 2 and 3):

ALWAYS TAKE ALL THE QUESTS POSSIBLE BEFORE LEAVING (? above their head)
Starting
Start by talking to Sergeant Rocha upstairs before talking to the purple phone in the Safezone, which will tell you to talk to the grandma in the kitchen for the first actual quest.

Now the main quest can actually start after you go talk to the grandma

Grandma will ask for (no screenshot yet):
2 Cooking Pot
1 Frying Pan

Go talk to the purple phone once again

Humberto will ask for:

and:

Then go talk to Carpenter Joao he will ask for:

Note: Saw can be crafted
Toolbox is in the attic:

And the botanist wont give the hammer till you finish the next 2 quests:

Note: go to botanist store to get all you need, and farms maybe

Go back to Joao:

Lubricant is also in the attic:

Note: Keys are stupid because they are everywhere and nowhere at the same time, I couldn't find any place that had them except maybe the airport but im not sure, I dropped them from civilian zombies

Note 2: I know for a fact the the second guy with a construction helmet sell keys near the basement, but I dont know if at that point of the storyline his trades are available yet. Check if there is a guy right next to the basement door at the Safezone and if he is willing to sell you keys.

Then Go talk to Sergent Rocha

Humberto Cleaning
Humberto will ask you to clean ♥♥♥♥ after a party:

Note: Everything is in the room next to him
Then he'll ask to get rid of insects around the house:

find them:

Note: You have to go talk to Joao and get to the basement, tell Humberto about it and then find it under the sink in the kitchen

Storyline 2
Botanist:

Take the First Boss Fight from Alexandria (woman reading close to tents) quest
Then go talk to purple phone

Note: I always have fireman clothes because of the the experience from the previous maps, so I accidently cheesed the fight, if not, bring ammo and heal.
He's here btw:

Also take Bea quest:

You cand find the stuff here and will have to go back and forth THREE TIMES >< (like why...) from airport to Safezone
stuff is here:

Hide 'n Seek
Go talk to kid on the fountain near the Helicopter to play hide and seek with this ♥♥♥♥♥♥:

Locations:

After that this idiot lost his robot:

who is behind him:

Storyline 3
Go talk to Commander Jorge near the Helicopter:

Note: you can craft the Fieldkit or find stupid amouts in Deadzones, but at this point it might not bee worth the hastle even tho you will have to learn how to loot them efficiently
Then Jorge again will ask:

Note: First hard item to get for me was the Heavy ammo crates, you can either get very lucky in military army zones (I didn't) or get them from deadzones, I personnaly got them out of military zombies in deadzones, It took me quite a while, and wouldn't recommend trying in regular zones. That is at this moment where I invented the Elevator technique shown in video. Good luck.

Jorge again:

?
Botanist:

Note: you can find ceramic vase in regular botanist stores, seed location here

Storyline 4
Commander Jorge with 2nd Boss fight:

Note: After you kill a certain amount of spitters the boss will spawn near you
After you killed the Boss and the spitters the NPC will spawn
(even with the question mark above his head it took me a solid 20min to find this mf)
He's here:

Talk to Sergent Rocha:
CONGRATULATION YOU'RE LIKE SO FAR AWAY FROM THE END BWAHAHA
Storyline 5
Botanist:

get to Joao:

Note: Get clothes from farm and maybe grow the weath yourself like I did

Chef Humberto:
4 Cheese (no screenshot)

Regina:

Location:

Doctor Ramos:

Note: Can be find anywhere in medical tents, maybe in clinics/meds stores but I'm not sure

Sergeant Campos:

Talk to Denis right next to Rocha and post those Pamphlets at those locations:

Talk to ??? Near the Docks:

Tell him to go upstairs (after talking to Campos maybe? I dont remember)
My boy Miguel
Commander Jorge:
3rd Boss Fight and last btw

Sergeant Campos:

Note: Scalvage devices for electrical components, you can craft Copper Wire btw

Miguel:

Note: find them in Hardware stores

Chem Hamberto:
Go talk to Safezone members (didn't take screenshots)

Then Analyse cables in the house (no screenshot):
Locations:

Miguel:

Note: go to Firemans place with a hammer and get stupid amount of scrap metal

Miguel:

Sergeant Campos:
Find Toolbox (no screenshot)
Location:

Sergeant Campos:

It's at the command room of the boat deadzone:

Talk to Rocha

Accountant Denis:

Note: You can turn clothes into cloth into paper

Sergeant Campos:

Note: you just have to be near those radio towers, nothing else
locations:

Commander Mirando:

Note: just ask Bea for Dictionnary she will give you one (maybe speak to Regina first) and give it back to the Mirando

Kinda want to hit him
So little kid stole stuff from everyone:

Everytime you find him, he will leave one object on the ground that you have to pick up
locations:

NB: I remember finding an object on the white couch on the left when you enter the house, idk if I'm missing a screenshot or even if it's related, just sayin, check it maybe
Storyline 6
Miguel:

You can find all those Generator parts in the same Hangar here:

Talk to Purple phone and the people at the docks
Go talk to Rocha

Fisherman:

Note: kill litteraly any animal in the wilds

Doctor:

Note: just give it to the person LITERALLY one meter next to him
Note bis: Map creator had to much time in his hands

Check the 4 people plotting near the water tower in the Safezone

Sergeant Campos:

Note: go to the same tower you had to be near in the deadzone and flick the lever till they are all on, I know it's a popular puzzle but I had to spam it till it worked cuz I'm a monkey

Talk to Purple Phone
Talk to Rocha

Commander Jorge:

Find a poster of the guy ploting here:

Fisherman:

Note: Dog bed is in the basement of the Safezone house

get the bowls from the Grandma and place everything at the docks next to Fisherman, you can get pet food from regular grocerie stores

Sergeant Campos:

Note: Go to underground level 2 in the Deadzone and find the server room
Start the thing and push the green button if all the shapes lookalike, if not press the red button, you can try as much as you want except that there is a 30s cooldown between tries
room:
Storyline 7
Commander Jorge:

Listening devices can be found here:

Give them back to Jorge
Now you have to place and listening to their conversations on those 3 spots: Here comes the very stupid part, you have to WAIT for them to move from a place to another. I didn't find any way to skip time and it was one of the most boring/stupid quest of this map
locations:

Fisherman:

Note: I completly lost track of what Joao asked to make the dog house I'm sorry, once you have it, put it near the Fisherman

Commander Jorge:

Note:Enigmaballs more like HAHA... Hum sry, it's the red books at this location:

Commander Jorge:

Go talk to Officer Daniel Upstairs on the left, go back to Commander Jorge and WAIT till it's night and meet him in the basement

Go check those crates at the opposite side of the docks next to the 4th meeting point:

Storyline 9
Commander Jorge:

Note: Kill 30 almost invisble zombies near the location and get the stuff back in 2 travels (like with the music instruments at the airport)

Commander Jorge:

Note: You just have to talk to the guys, talk to Jorge,go back and tell them to ♥♥♥♥ off basicly

Miguel:

Fisherman:

location:

Miguel:

Note: took me hours to find one, I think its almost impossible to get them at hardware store even tho I'm almost sure I found one and didnt take it before, found mine here:

Bring 25 plastic tubes aswell

Go talk to Doctor Mariana:
She will ask you to ask the botanist for her flower, she will tell you to ♥♥♥♥ off, go back to doctor, and fkin steal it, it will explode or idk really what's happening ngl

Miguel:

Miguel:

Commander Jorge:

Note: to me it was definitly the quest that took me the longest, and frankly that I find VERY stupid, go check the elevator technic

Pilot César:

Give back to Miguel
Storyline 10
Commander Jorge:

Note: I got scared for a second but the Sentries are provided haha, just place them here:

Note: Get a Wrench to repair some of them, ask the woman in the attic of the safezone for guns and go back and forth to arm the Sentries

Commander Jorge:

locations:
Ending
Stupid kid:

Go "draw" on the side of the purple phone:

Commander Jorge:

Note: at this point you probably dont need screenshots, just go talk to them

Sergeant Campos:

location:

Botanist Silva:

Note: you could be missing the one under the helicopter

Go talk to Purple phone:

Note: Bring Paint Bucket and Sleeping pills
Go to the middle of the museum in Niteroi, go through the wooden door (idk whats the use of the beacon btw)

Give pills to zombie, put paint on the ground and proceed to the sacrifice and VOILA
You got your achievement, officially one of the few who completed the map and not used some dumb command lines, congratulations!!!

Conclusion
So... This map took me hours to finish, about 5 day of intense trying, it could have been cut by half If I knew where to look, had more indication and could buy the items I listed at the very beggining of the guide. I kinda feel like you can't really much complain about free content but I'll just say this shortly with all due respect to the creators: A bit too long, WAY WAAAAY too much back and forth, and not enough fights/events, the only boss is unrelated to the story line, no cool ending... Also I missed half of the lore because english is not my first language and the plant (virus idk?) was talking complete Gibberish to me.

Other than that the map is really great, I wish you all good luck to the ones who will try to get it the way it's intended to

Of course do not hesitate to leave a comment or ask any question, always appreciated

@Maldigni it's not a bug bro, you have to be very patient, I had to wait for like 30minutes at the safe zone (and may I say without any tutorial or guarantee that i was doing the right thing)

Now you have to place and listening to their conversations on those 3 spots: Here comes the very stupid part, you have to WAIT for them to move from a place to another. I didn't find any way to skip time and it was one of the most boring/stupid quest of this map

I dont remember cuz it's already a long time ago, but some can only be placed at night, some you have to interact... My guess is that it's not bugged, just stupid!

@Sparte Nope, just kept leaving and entering the map on the Armory in NDM Pernambuco until the items appeared. It's a bit risky if the Mega spawns and hears you, since the door is also breakable by zombies, but since the loot there is only Special High the crate and mortar appeared within 10-25 attempts.

@The Unlucky Glad it helped! Did you use the elevator video or not?

Thank you so much for this guide. You saved me from countless hours of fetch quests.

The quests that required materials could be skipped by buying with Reginaldo;
The quests that needed you to go to Santos Joint to solve a puzzle were annoying;
But none were as bad as getting the heavy ammo crates and frags.

Anyway, thanks again.

@Zu Zu You're the first person to point it out, for the Mega Zombies I'm not surprised, but for the main quest objects, It's very weird, where did you find the robot?
