Low FPS/stuttering fix - 2025

Fix 1: Set .exe to high performance

Go to: settings -> system -> display -> graphics setting (all the way at the bottom) -> click on browse and select the .exe for the game. (If you are having trouble finding the executable, right click on the game on Steam and select: manage -> browse local files)
After the game pops up on the list, click: options -> high performance (if on laptop, select the non-integrated GPU)

Fix 2: Cap refresh rate + turn on vsync

Refresh rates above 60Hz do not work properly.
Go to: settings -> system -> display -> advanced display settings (all the way at the bottom).
At the bottom, you will get a drop down menu called 'Refresh Rate'. Set any refresh rate =<60Hz.
Then, in game, go to options and turn on vsync.
