Red Strike 1989

Description
VERSION 0.8 BETA

All markers and counters are in the game. The game is fully playable.

We will include Hit, Veterancy, Reserve, and Movement markers as automatic flags that can be dynamically added and deleted, but besides that, major work is done.

This is an officially sanctioned Red Strike module for Tabletop Simulator with VUCA Simulations approval, with work performed by Air Goons.

It currently has scenario maps, player reference sheets, all the tracking maps, and some other functions. The basic game table is laid out.

First beta version published. Game is fully playable, even if not fully polished.

Go play!

There is a new version with lots of changes. However there is a bug currently where many Soviet Russian units are not present. Majority of counters are there, though.

As of now, we opted for Counter that is sized as quarter of the hex, allowing you to place them side by side. In TTS, it offers a neater presentation and means you see stacked units at the same time.

All unit counters from both sides are now in. We are still missing various movement and reserve markers, but by far the largest part of the work is done now.

Well not to cause panic but I think we are pretty close to getting a first working version out.

Thanks for working on this! I've wanted to make a module for RS for a while but I've run out of space on my TTS Steam Workshop. Let me know if you need any help with it. A common mistake made when converting a game from VASSAL to TTS (I assume this is what you're doing) is that the counters get really blurry. I figure that you may have run into this, the simple solution is to change the png pixel count from 86x86 or whatever it was to maybe 360x360 or 480x480.

This is one of my favorite games over the last few years. Glad to see it is getting a TTS module. Can't wait for it to be playable here.
